  1. Probably the ability to manipulate vibrations. You would be able to cause loud sounds, minor earthquakes, and disruptive waves of vibrations. Like, you could do some cool stuff with it, and it sounds like a nice concept.
  2. Ya know, people really tend to do miko really well, which I’m glad about with her being my second favorite character. She tends to keep her usual flashiness, has a good frenemies relationship on certain matters with the myouren temple, and overall a kind of chaotic family dynamic is usually created between them. The only thing I would say I don’t like is that some portray miko as kind of an asshole, when in reality she is supposed to be kind but a little overbearing.
  3. Reimu in general is easily the strongest character, because her patterns are for some reason extremely dense and way better than the other characters spells. Like, the homing bullets suck to dodge, the balls come in either titanic size or just a huge amount of them, and on top of that reimu has a bullet removing skill.
  4. Tbh, I really am excited for the full game. It seems like it’s going in a great direction with essentially reduxing PoFV mechanics, like making the controls actually feel nice this time. The graphics are nice, I honestly love the new music(especially since ZUN remixed the better themes for Nazrin and Seiran as their stage themes ruled), and the new charge systems are really good. I definitely think screen reading is a slightly issue, but that was always a problem in this type of game. Overall, extremely excited for the full release.(You can probably tell my favorite mainline touhou game by this reply lol)
  5. Only if you like gacha games. The story is good for getting into the series as a kinda show off of some VERY basic characterization they have. The events and some new units are what keeps me playing, as the events are generally really well written and the new units are good besides all c3 units. Gameplay is also good enough but is best if you just use what you like and strategize a little
  6. About a year now, but if you count lost word as my start a year and half. I started on march 15 last year
  7. Welcome! Hope you like it here. This is the spot where I’ve tried to jump into the actual community too, so just have fun and enjoy the experience!
  8. Grapes are super good. I love sugary fruit the most because natural sugar is good fuel, and grapes are great when sweet or sour.
  9. As someone who plays splatoon with in a rank worth a damn (A Rank), mindset is huge. If you go and play after a bad day, odds are you will get frustrated and not improve. If you go in on a good day, you may improve because you aren’t predisposed to that negative mindset already. As someone who struggles with this kind of thinking, I try to stay away from certain games that would cause that mindset on worse days( which is definitely why I don’t play the bullet hells much ), as I’ll feel way worse. So yeah, mindset definitely determines progress.
  10. I have 2. Genius of Sappheiros and healing nature are both splendid. I love genius of Sappheiros for its difficulty and good-ish characters, but it has overall amazing gameplay. Healing Nature is better story wise, and has good gameplay too. As a RPG fan, these two do the best. I will also recommend TPDP as well, because it is also my favorite fangame too.
  11. Heya, I got a few questions for ya. - Favorite Fangame? - Best soup? - Favorite season?
  12. A huge piece of history for everyone is their username online. Where did yours come from? Mine is from when I was very young, playing typing games in the computer lab. I hadn’t had a solid username yet, and I was obsessed with Pokémon sun and moon, which just released at the time. I also loved Kirby, and thus, loved meta knight. So, my first username became Metalunalion, with parts from meta knight, lunala, and solgaleo. This would be it for a long time, but along the way it became metalunalium for ease of pronunciation and the suffix on Z-crystals. Eventually, I got hit by character limits a lot. I had to shorten or change my name. So my alt tag for awhile( and still is ) was Maelstrom, just cuz I liked the word. Then, my current username came to me like an OC idea: out of completely random inspiration. I then got to Juunim as my username, which has stuck but was lengthened to Juunimeta to not erase my old one completely.
  13. Iku has a nice hat. Ribbons look nice and I like how they react to her electricity in some interpretations, as well as bowler hats being awesome
  14. So I have no art skills, so they aren’t exactly designed, but I have clear idea for them. I have an idea for a cast of a touhou game taking place in former hell, where an incident happens due to a goddess losing almost all of her faith and things start disappearing. Said goddess, who isn’t formally named, would be a goddess of the small things in life, like the crunch of leaves underfoot or grass waving in the wind. Her shrine was isolated after the whole conflicts between oni, tengu, and kappa happened. She is the titular stage 6 boss. Her design would be pale blue long hair, with a simple white dress with symbols of flowers, grass, and apples on it. She has a laurel on her hair as well. Her only current source of faith is the tsukumogami she created, being one of a goblet. This character is my favorite out of the cast I have so far, being the stage 5 boss. Her powers are of absorption, using the goblet she has chained to her neck as a vessel to absorb stuff. She can then release it back at similar power, so it’s kinda like yuuma without storage, making it closer to reflection. Her design would be white hair tied into a left sided long pigtail, along with a blue and gold robe with a white under shirt and black pants and boots. Next is the stage 4 boss, a type of youkai adjacent to satori youkai. This character is named Violet Raja, and she can manipulate the senses. She can basically control waves of disrupting particles, called psychic winds, that cause temporary loss or sharpening of a sense. She directs the protagonist towards the abandoned shrine in which the goddess lies, as the stage 5 boss is an acquaintance of hers. Her design is a red grilled black dress, short curly purple hair, and a black bowler hat similar to iku’s. She has a simple sword she carries around as well. The last character I wanna talk about is a shrine maiden. She doesn’t have a god to worship yet, so she wanders about in search of one. However, when the incident occurs she was drawn toward the underground as a result of it, eventually finding out about the stage 6 boss after the incident. She becomes the shrine maiden for that goddess and helps her make a shrine near the entrance to the underground. Her design is bright pink hair that’s about shoulder length, a set of clothes kind like PC 98 reimu’s design but with some extra bits of flair. And that’s what I have so far, but I’m probably going to attempt to make it happen once I start to learn some computer programming skills. Either that or I write sone kind of fan work for it.
  15. For me, lost word was definitely my tipping point into the series. I had kinda heard of touhou from tumblr posts I read about, so I tried to check it out but had no luck because I had no computer to run it on. Well, around October 2021 I decided to look on the App Store and ended up with lost word. Now, the point I define as me getting into the series was March 15 of last year, as that’s when I first played EoSD and ended up loving it.
