After hearing all of this fuss about KKHTA in various places, I'm interested in watching it. I found this link but the upload dates seem weird (first vids were uploaded 7 years ago, after that just 1 year ago and in the end 8 years ago). Should I watch it from there and in that order? Should I find another source/translation etc.

I think no words can describe this video/song other that pure fun. Plus it's an arangement (if you can even call it that) of my favourite theme so I've been listening to this non-stop for the past 3 days.

Who is the creator/artist of images like these? I've seen them everywhere, on the character sorter, on YouTube videos, on memes etc. Also, is there any place where I can bulk download them?

These kind of discutions are becoming more and more common now with the news about reddit and the like and I agree with @Reitisen's statements. A simmilar discution also took place in MoTK and they also brought up more points like historical archives.

When playing the demo offline everything is fine, both story mode and human vs CPU, but when playing online, for some reason the game drops to 6 fps even on menus plus most of the time it disconnects even before the match has started. Am I the only person experiencing this?

Recently there was a Touhou 9 tournament at TouhouFest so I don't really see the reason why not make one for Touhou 19 as well. I think it would be really cool for this kind of thing to be in person but I doubt that there will be enough people (I think the reason that so many people joined the PoFV one was because it was inside TouhouFest)

For all my life I've been playing a lot of Minecraft (easily 1200+ hours) but lately I'm not playing that often. This started with me getting into rythm games and touhou in the start of 2022. Now even I don't really know what videogames I like so I want to try different genres that that I haven't played a lot in the past.

Around 1.5 years ago I listened to a new (for me) pair of singers called KMNZ, specifically a song called "R U GAME". I really liked it, to the point where I used it as my ringtone for a while. Basically what the title says. I personally (among MANY others) learnt about it through Bad Apple. Specifically, I was scrolling through the playlists of a YouTuber called GD Colon and found one called "haha weeb". I got interested (as at the time I started watching a lot of anime) and checked it out. It was full of Japanese songs, one of which was Bad Apple. If I remember correctly, I learnt that Touhou was actually a video game series through either the comments on the Bad Apple video or from Megapig9001's video explaining it. I got this video recommended after watching the original Bad Apple and then another video titled "Bad Apple but the lyrics are describing what happens in the video". Luckily, I keep a lot of stuff (more like I am data-hoarding) so I got all the dates of the events so if anyone is wondering: 2021/11/13 - First time listened to Bad Apple 2021/11/19 - Watched "Bad Apple but the lyrics are describing what happens in the video" 2022/01/06~17 - Went through a Bad Apple phase where I watched a lot of these videos with bad apple played on literally anything 2022/01/23 - Downloaded Touhou 6

CountVonNumenor back with another fire post ✍ On a serious note, I think it's because of 3 main reasons. First, anime and manga display stuff in a perfect and unrealistic manner. So it's only natural to be attached to a character in that way. Heh, it doesn't even have to be a character. I have lost count of the times where I saw a food being cooked in an anime and thought to myself that I wanted to eat that right now (but that's completely different from liking a character so let's get back to the main topic). Since they are "such perfect beings", you might end up longing for them. The 2nd reason is that there are thousands of waifus, each suited for a different person. If you think about it, there have been thousands of anime/manga/visual novels released, some of them having very bug casts so after watching many of them, one waifu will catch your attention. And the 3rd reason is that, we're lonely. Waifus can give us that affection that we otherwise wouldn't get.

I used to read a lot when I was in elementary school, to the point of borrowing books from both my school's library and another one near my house. Then I stopped for some years and picked up the hobby again around I year ago but this time with books written in English instead of my native language. So far I have finished 6 volumes of mostly light novels. But recently I started reading a book called "Because Internet: Understanding the New Rules of Language" and have found it pretty interesting so far (definitely recommend if you like stuff like linguistics).

In my country, touhou is extremely obscure (if not unknown). Anime has been getting popular and every teenager knows what it is, but most of them have watched only these series and nothing else: Attack on Titan, Death Note and Demon Slayer (ofc also Pokemon). Not that there's anything wrong with them, but I've heard people say stuff like like "Bro, Attack on Titan is the best anime ever" while only having watched that and Pokemon. I'm getting a bit off track, ain't I? Also, I once managed to get a friend to try EoSD and they played a bit and then never touched it again. Another time I managed to find someone from my country who played touhou online, but it was in a forum where they hadn't been online for 4 years so take that as you wish.
