  1. I often feel like could try to do a better job at making posts, even with everything going on in my life I still want to improve myself and try to make good posts as much as possible. Even if most of them are probably crap.

  2. Don't beat yourself up over it, it'll only make you feel even worse than before. I do agree with Tenkko here you should really seek a therapist, I mean I've been in therapy for months now and it's helped me in the long run so you should try looking at things from a more positive angle and try to improve your mindset. Like we said you're not a loser but you gotta understand nobody's judging you or anything you just gotta learn to ignore gossip on the internet.
  3. Thanks for getting my point across here, I do appreciate the help.
  4. Bro I'm gonna be real with you here: You aren't missing out on much, besides I think teen love is a load of bullshit because it's usually not worth your time and energy to think what you could've done when you were still going through that phase in life, you're still basically young and you still have your whole life ahead of you, besides why worry about having girlfriend now since you still the freedom to do whatever you want with your life, now I'm not saying you can't be in a relationship or anything but I feel like there are better things to be concerned about then getting a GF in life. You do realize not all people in those fandoms fit into that category of stereotypes right? Even if Touhou & Warhammer 40K have fat, smiley neck-beards they don't make up the majority of the fanbase, as I have stated previously don't let people define who you are, no matter what your interests are. As long as you like something to a healthy degree than it's usually not a problem. Even though I'm not really into the idea of waifuism myself I don't see anything wrong with being attracted to fictional characters (As long as it's not to a creepy degree), though with that I said feel like I should drop this copypasta here (Even if pisses someone off): "You people don’t actually want girlfriends. You want a personified coping mechanism to materialize in your room in the shape of a girl and magically fall in love with you and fix all your problems or something idk. The fact that it’s totally devoid from conceivable reality is itself the appeal because you can keep blaming all your problems on this made up unattainable scapegoat instead of addressing the underlying issues and the fact that most of you wouldn’t be able to engage in an intimate relationship or even truly want one in actual reality. It’s kind of like girls who have romcom syndrome but more severe." That being said however, anyone can still love Touhou for it's characters but the lengths people are willing go to with them and the unhealthy obsession's behind them still disturbs me.
  5. Personally speaking here: I just can't get into KKHTA, mainly because it's so hard to sit through in one setting for me, I know it's supposed to be edgy but honestly I just can't get behind it which feels odd for me to say since I do like dark stories if there done properly or have some campiness to 'em, granted I have not seen the whole series but since I've seen how the characters have died in brutal ways it pretty much made me realize everything was gonna end so horribly, even if the writing made no sense to me. Needless to say it wasn't my cup of black tea, I don't hate it per se but that shit was so gut-wrenching to experience I never want to watch it again. (That face Koishi makes will continue to haunt my mind for many years to come.) Edit: My grammar is really poor today, huh?
  6. Been in the mood to listen to The Cure again, gotta say I love the guitar and the overall dark yet melancholic moods these songs produce yet they reside with me on an emotional level, Between Depeche Mode and The Cure I love them both for there gothic undertones (If that even makes sense).
  7. Shin Megami Tensei IV has one of those soundtracks where nearly every song fits perfectly to not only to the tone of the game, but the overall atmosphere is so dense yet kickass, one of my favorite soundtracks in any game ever. God tier OST.
  8. Never played any of PC-98 Touhou games myself but I gotta admit the music's pretty good, especially Mima's theme in PoDD (Which I'm a fan of) and I think this cover does it great justice, tenfold.
  9. I've been listening to Hellion Sounds for the past 2-3 weeks and I gotta say I absolutely love their works, they make some amazing arrangements of songs from various games (I'm mostly familiar with their SMT covers), definitely worth a listen since their all BANGERS. Not to mention they did remix covers of Touhou songs as well!
  10. Carpenter Brut? Carpenter Brut.
  11. This may be a bet lengthy so bare with me here, throughout the years that I've been on the internet Touhou was one of those series that I've heard legendary things about it but knew very little about, my first exposure to Touhou was Ronald McDonald Insanity (Pretty old I know) and various memes, YTP's and YTPMV's though I only knew the popular songs I.E. U.N. Owen was her? and Nights of Nights, needless to say I wasn't familiar with the series at that time, though I used to know a couple of people who were FE and RPG fans who also liked Touhou too and that's how I got to know a few characters like Yuuka, Ringo, Reisen ETC. And the thing is that I started going down this rabbit-hole since late 2021 so despite being on the internet for a long time I've only gotten into Touhou since 3 months ago.
