I'm very happy to have Parsee arrive with her event now. It's satisfying to see my favourite after waiting every day for her to be playable. However, I'm not done until I see Tojiko, Raiko and the others here with their events too. Even if Parsee had the lowest stats in the game, I would still have her on my team all the time :)

We're getting Hina's Cheering Saga part 2 as well! Wasn't expecting this already, but it's the event I wanted to see the most. Can't wait to have Parsee's new costume!

Oh my god! OH MY GOD!!! My beloved is finally here! I can't describe how happy I am right now!

I've caught up with the Interlude chapter now and it's a shame those characters still haven't arrived yet, despite making a few appearances already. Sumireko was the main focus and she even had a new costume, so there's no reason for her to be missed out. This applies for the others too since we can see them in battles. I'll admit that I was very happy to see Parsee again and I really like how she's been depicted in the story so far. I might have replayed her cutscenes a few times :) I'm also confused with how they treated the MC. It seems like she's way younger than we expected, instead of being around the same age as Reimu and Marisa. Seeing Nemuno and Sannyo give her headpats was very cute though. Since the global version likes including new characters with events, I'll probably have to wait even more before I'm finally with Parsee. Maybe we'll see her if Hina's Cheering Saga gets another rerun. At least there's a few we can expect to have soon. If Gensokyo of the dead or Prismriver march is next, then I can't wait to see Tojiko and Raiko with their costumes.

Ten Desires Miko is here for global and I'm happy to see another classic variation. I really like this arrangement of true administrator, also Tojiko and Futo make an appearance too! Shame we didn't get to see Tojiko playable before her though. I'm still going to save my exchange ema as well. They really should have included the festival characters and I don't think we're going to receive these exchanges often.

As disappointed as I am with the game, I'm happy to see Ichirin here now. Nice to have all the UFO characters and hopefully the earlier games will be completed next. That being said, I don't them to focus on the recent UM cast instead of the characters that were on jp for over a year now.

I couldn't describe the disappointment I felt when I saw this on the livestream. At the same time, I'm not surprised given the recent content for the game. I really thought these were just cute summer outfits. It doesn't really matter what story explanation there is, they shouldn't be epic variations at all. Also, I might give up on referring to the characters by their universe classification. There's too many at this point, including this new one. My heart is going to break if Epic Yukari and Relic Alice arrive quicker in global than the others. While some of those alts look cooler than others like Marisa, I still have no interest in trying to get them. They're just going to be overpowered and everyone else that aren't epics or relics, won't have their stats improved. In fact, I don't even know if I'll be playing the game anymore by the time they're available. Just like you and a large amount of the community, I'm tired of these decisions and I want to take a break as soon as possible. I'll be more than happy to once characters like Raiko and my beloved Parsee are finally here. I'm also going to be sad thinking about everything I invested in this game and whether it was all worth it in the end. At least one thing is certain, my dislike for gacha games has skyrocketed after LostWord.

Thanks for compiling all the controversies and sharing it with us Count! If I wasn't sceptical enough already, hearing all this makes me want to stay away from it completely. I'll make sure to share this with as many people as I can too. Shame that ZUN himself probably doesn't make these decisions and it's handled by his legal team instead. They might be more interested in making touhou popular than focus on the quality of these gacha games.

I guess the only thing I don't understand is why some people ignore the official depictions. They just view the characters based on how the community treats them. That might be an issue with fandoms in general, but at least I don't have to agree with them either. Meiling for example, is sometimes hated for being lazy or weak. I still thinks she's the best gatekeeper in Gensokyo. She's cool for mastering different types of martial arts too!

By the way Scarlet, I see that you have a screenshot of Celeste as your header. I love that game so much! The music, the level design and the story are just amazing! It's still one of the best indie games I've played!

I actually haven't played much of Pokemon myself, but I'm interested in the series. I guess having a world where you can discover different species, which all have their unique charm is very appealing. Most of the character designs are cool too!

You have the boxed copy, nice! I'm really happy that more people can enjoy the Persona series now! Hopefully more companies decide to take a similar approach. :)

Hi again! I just love playing through a variety of games, especially jrpg's like Persona and Dragon Quest. I'm biased towards Mario 64 though, mainly cause it was one of the first I've ever played and I still enjoy watching the speedruns too!

It's a shame Danmaku Kagura will be closing it's servers. The game seemed to be doing really well, but I guess it still didn't reach those expectations. I'm glad they were able to include so many amazing songs and artwork though. The roadmap for the last of the content is great too. I just really wanted to see a global version and the gameplay was more interesting to me compared to other touhou gachas. I feel like LostWord might be the only one to survive, since Good Smile Company is huge and they probably have enough support to keep the game around for years. I'm not a fan of the current state of LostWord either, since it feels like they're trying to make as much money now over anything else. I've mentioned this before, but I might be done as soon as I have the last of my favourites. Even if I don't like gacha games that much, I agree that the constant hate will bring the community down with negativity. Thank for sharing that tweet and to you guys for letting me know about the team behind Arcadia Record. Even if I did check out that game, I don't want to keep supporting them if they continue to be involved with shady stuff. I haven't heard about this news, so thanks for sharing too! It would be interesting if this was an actual bullet hell for mobile, but that sounds more painful. To be honest, I just don't want to see a future where touhou is only known for gacha. The best thing the community could do is keep sharing how amazing everything else is.

I wanted to share this PV of Arcadia Record, the new touhou gacha arriving for Japan. I really like the artsyle and it's great that artists from the community are involved too. There are more characters available from the start, which is nice. I might give this a try since everyone looks beautiful, especially Parsee!

Nice to see you Count! I appreciate it when you summarise all the news into posts like this and sorry for not interacting as much. At least there's a lot to talk about now! Relic units: I couldn't believe they were introducing units based on those MV's. I guess they're trying their best to get as much money as they can. I don't really have any interest in getting these versions and adding more doll types seems like a nightmare. The saddest part about this is that they will probably be given the same level of priority as the ufes. Then we'll have to wait even longer for characters who still aren't here yet. Glad Mystia is finally arriving though. Gamepress tier list: I've mentioned this before, but I don't focus on tier lists or stats at all. I love using most of the characters to be honest, even if they're considered to be the worst performing. It's a shame that some people will only focus on blue Reimu's stats and ignore everyone else, even though it's just another Reimu. I also don't like how it's mainly the ufes that are the highest. Fantasy rebirth: I love Akyuu and Kosuzu's outfit a lot, they look beautiful! Looking forward to how the others turn out like Doremy and the Prismrivers! It's great how close the global version is now to having these rebirths. Those fan interpretations of the MC are nice to see too!

There is a lot you guys have discussed already but I'll just share my thoughts as well. I agree with Darksymphony777 on the reason for the high amount of NSFW content. This is probably due to the fact that nearly anyone can use the property as they wish. The japanese law also contributes a lot and I understand SasaMisa to an extent too. Personally, I'm not interested in any of that stuff. I'm enjoying touhou for the music and cool characters. I think my enjoyment would die if I decided to focus on the NSFW content. However, that shouldn't mean no one is allowed to check that stuff given how much there is.

Back again, I'll try to be more active now and check the other threads. I'm glad that Nue and Nazrin are here in the global version. It's been ages since we last had another UFO character join. Peacekeeper Reisen is also here meaning space Kaguya will be very soon too. For the the phantasm stage in the arena, I couldn't be bothered playing through it. Like you guys said, the amount of damage we do compared to how much HP they have is ridiculous. The rewards don't seem worth enough to spend that much time. I also don't want to keep grinding for those rare cards. Even with the increased drop rate, they still might not appear after 100 battles. I didn't even know what purple heart was until people mentioned the farming method. I wouldn't try it at all even if it meant I could get the cards quicker. The meta doesn't matter much to me either. I just like having as many characters as I can, but still use my favourites. At least there is the story update to look forward to.

Time to catch up on everything. With the forever prayer, I've been trying to find either Yuugi, Saki or Miko so far. I really want to have a team with all the characters from SA. It was surprising seeing reisen arrive early. Guessing we will get the other hifuu ones within a similar time frame. I like how the global version is on par with jp for ufes characters now. I actually joined the lostword discord recently and I've been trying to convince new people to not disregard anyone who isn't Flandre or Remila. I still don't like the obsession with tier lists and think everyone should just pick characters they like. There have been nice people I've met though. As for my supposed top 10, I guess I nearly have everyone apart from my number one. I'll continue to wait for Parsee like always. (:

I haven't tried any of the events for a while but this band one looks fun, so I'll check it out. I want more characters like Alterisa (amazing nickname) to have events too. I'd love to see MSM Youmu interact with our Youmu more. Those fantasy rebirth costumes are so beautiful! I always think about more of my favourites getting these outfits one day.

Yeah, the build up for Act 3 made it seem like this was going to be the end. Then it shows to be continued and I'm wondering why? I'm glad we're able to see so many characters even it can be overwhelming, since this might be only time we'll ever see them in the story. Once chapter 3 is completed, I might not continue unless something genuinely interesting is taking place. I'll talk more about the recent events now. Since we have both PCB Alice and Yukari on the way, I'm predicting that MoF Nitori and Sanae will arrive together at some point. I'm also glad they've shown the roadmap for fantasy rebirth. Here are more predictions: June - Mokou, Kaguya and Eirin July - Kanako, Byakuren and Suwako August - Luna, Star and maybe Yuyuko? It's great that the global version is catching up to jp now for fantasy rebirths.

Yeah, also I love that new characters are being introduced with costumes even if their events aren't available. Can't believe they already included Mayumi's outfit! There still isn't many of the UFO cast yet, so I predict someone like Kogasa or Nue will be next. Still hoping for my beloved Parsee!

As mentioned before, I'm going to talk about some anime that I love. I'm a huge fan of romantic comedies like Love is war and Maid sama. Its nice to watch shows that aren't too serious and focus on being lighthearted. I love the style these shows try with comedy too. There is also Spy x Family out currently and and I love everything about it, especially Anya! I love psychology shows as well. Higurashi is one of favourites and I love how the atmosphere was handled and the way the mystery was set up. The characters are all cute which makes the scenarios more disturbing. I really enjoy Re Zero too, even if it's an isekai show. I'd love to hear some of everyone's favourites!

I'm happy with the way global version has been introducing characters more. Having two characters within the same banner instead of being separate like the jp one. We're finally getting the favourites that people have been waiting for! Yachie and Mayumi are now here! Hopefully Kogasa and Parsee soon.
