  1. My original name stems from the game Arknights with the character Beagle, back then I didn't have much creativity and went using any characters' name.. My current name came from my imagination of a waffle growing duck legs and swimming about on the lake like a duck. The idea felt funny to me and sparked inspiration to create this name like a funny thing to be.
  2. For me it's tangerines. We grow a lot of tangerines here so it's common sense to buy some ton of it and pick off gradually, haha. It elicits that sweet aroma on the inside, and the outer shell smells like lead a bit. Sometimes I do stumble across some really sour ones (like being thrown with sour grapes) but mostly its that sweet sensation that you get when biting down on one that makes me happy.
  3. I use Opera, mostly Opera GX for gaming situations. It's good to have something like that. For work browser, I use one of my country's web browser instead, which is Cốc Cốc ( Vietnamese browser, I know. Coc Coc for english, I suppose) for whenever I want to download videos. I store a bunch of my work sites up there so it's easy to access.
  4. Now, I should preface that I never, myself anyway, watched the Japanese Goburin vid of his (old nor new). It's not because I don't like it, I quite fancied the rhythm of it otherwise. It's because of the saturation and widespread of it that made me barred it away from my watchlist. Yes, I know, I'm being a bit non-sensical, but when it reaches a point of spread, so much of a community icon even, it turns into widespread oversaturation, and easily bores people and making them jump out of the Goburin bandwagon. Of course, I appreciate MTB for at least reviving a meme and turning it into an beacon of the Touhou community itself, but when oversaturation happens, it turns into chaos and a rumbustious case of hand pointing.
  5. Interesting choice in IN Reimu. I feel like this version of Reimu gets me thinking of Hina, as in her ribbons curl a bit, but I think that is just me. For me, it's Eternity Larva from Hidden Star in Four Seasons. A butterfly fairy was a surprise for me when I first saw this, thinking it would be a bit odd. But then I grew to like it. The fluttering ring of leaves on her head feels like to me, the ringing of something fresh. Eternity is a fairy of summer, after all. She longs for that heat to catch up to all who seeks and enjoys it. Personally, I see her butterfly wings as an perfect execution of art here. It looks so realistic, and gives the impression that it's very big, and spreads out wider than her span. The hands maybe a synostic reminder to Rumia, but hey. Her clothes design, for me looks natural. Yes, butterfly gradients follow the top, but then it splits down at the bottom of the dress with leaves and rock patterns (it seems, sorry if it isn't) caressing along the dress, making her feel like she belongs to the nature, and the flutters of life belong it. All in all, its lovely, and probably stuck with me the most.
  6. Vietnamese person here, and honestly, if there's anything of a Touhou community here, it's definitely thriving. For once, we do take precedence in our fandom. Fangames made by some members in our community, a hefty amount of cosplayers and in general, fans alike. I do take hope into seeing us thrive more haha, and I guess we are still strong in hands.
  7. I go along with Isaac's word on this. And to add on for myself, the visceral world, vibrant colors and it's citizens are what made Pokémon so fascinating for me. And then when I found Touhou, I drew along beside it and saw that same vibrant visceral landscape in Gensokyo, with youkais, gods and humans alike. Driving along the cruise boat of mutual understanding and trust, I guess that's what really got me into it.
  8. Takes me by the gun that I never have tried Pokemon in my life too, since life on the Asian coast hasn't been so fancy. I would always love to try out some now that I've gotten a bit more knowledge into technology shafty, and more. BW should be good for my introduction to modern Pokemon, at least if I want to say modern.
  9. Flak out of my non-experience with none of those we have just mentioned, I'm more of the traditionalist. I may remember some of my fondest: The House of The Dead franchise, my first ever light gun arcade introduction. Or Football Manager and Pro Evo Soccer, my first step into soccer games in general, and PES 2013 stays true to my motto of "Soccer Simulations For All". And PES 2013 would be atop of my favorite too. Having Champions League and Copa Libertadores licenses back then is tough, and PES pulled that off successfully, and fed on it. Real teams and leagues, a visceral experience on and off the pitch. And always the beloved Master League, where you can sit back and enjoy the world of football unravel in front of your eyes. Physics, temptations of just... bricking one from the outer line gets me all excited and nostalgia of all. So.... yeah. That's all really.
  10. It has always been the nature of gacha to be the cash-grabby archetype, and this time is no exception. But, I do think this is working kinda well, and I can see Touhou working with gacha in the future, just not in the way it is now. I played both LW and Dankagu, and found them to be quite entertaining. Mostly Dankagu, since rhythm games has been my soft spot for years. So, yes, it has potential to work, but keep it in the right hands who knows what they're doing with their arts of microtransaction-barganing, or else we'll have a dumpster fire of a game that dies off and hurts the series just a little bit more.
