I don’t know if ZUN is a little bit involved in Touhou Lost Word but if it’s the case, I think that it explains why there isn’t any PC-98 characters ZUN said that he doesn’t even want to talk about PC98 era and want people to don’t pay attention to it (sad for me )

I’ve noticed that what makes Touhou more noticeable than any other game is the way ZUN draw his character, I don’t think that Touhou would have the same atmosphere if the character were drawn in a classic manga style, I think it would be just a regular bullet-hell game (I guess it’s the way Touhou game genre is called). Anyway, I would like to know what is your favorite Touhou character illustration (made by ZUN of course ^^) if you hesitate between one or another just post them both ️ It can be from a game, an album, concept art… ️ It would be interesting if you can say what you like in the illustration you choose. No problem if you’re lazy to write it So, let’s start with me, I love Reimu illustration in Touhou Imperishable Night. She looks like a doll, I love her design and the color design is fantastic too. It makes me feel a sort of nostalgia… that’s why it’s my favorite illustration ^^ it’s your turn now !

There is only Reimu and Marisa in those images By the way, it’s really a shame that we cannot play with our favorite characters with our favorite costumes in Touhou LostWord, I mean, Sakuya LostWord is weaker (or maybe not ?) than Sakuya Scarlet but the problem here is that Sakuya Scarlet doesn’t have the costumes that Sakuya LostWord has… I also like Minoriko a lot but I really can’t challenge the Scarlet Devil Tower with her or any lunatic level because she is way too weak and doesn’t have any potential for it (so sad)

Since I haven’t finished th18 yet I've just discovered two new and interesting character… but this rainbow lady doesn’t have a really pretty and catchy design for a final boss it looks like that have ZUN made her design on Paint Anyway, she's still cute I’ve found some early Touhou costume concept by the way (ZUN has made a fanservice costume for Reimu )

You just can use Google translate even if the translations are sounding strange sometimes… There is some stories about some characters that we have never seen and it’s very interesting (like a full body illustration of Marisa where ZUN sayed that, according to him, her skirt is a tiny bit too short or some mikos that we have never seen)
