  1. (taken inspiration from lyrica live’s song) koga: the umbrella we know kogasa: ofc the youkai “ah of course, you wish to know what happened to the karakasa? well, lemme tell you about kogasa tatara…” once upon a time, koga was an old umbrella who’s only been bought by a girl 93 years after it was made. one day, it rained extremely hard in gensokyo and as this girl is traveling home, she can’t hold onto the handle tight and a large gust blew koga away. so far away that it’s outside the human village where she could never get it back from youkai. koga was left out to where, 7 years later, it was rebirthed as a tsukumogami where it became kogasa. kogasa has no memory of what happened last 7 years ago. today, this girl doesn’t remember koga anymore but she became a victim to youkai hunting as they scented where koga was last been and died only weeks after she lost koga to the gusts ”now, kogasa, being a tsukumogami, she was filled with the negative side to tsukumogamis after they gained their youkai bodies. kogasa is just truly a mindless being scaring people and doing blacksmithing but koga has some memory of its past” ~ headcanon made by koakuma, thank you for reading
