As Setsuwa has stated before/above me, you can use ProtonDB to check the compatibility with your Steam games. There's also areweanticheatyet, and you could also try searching up the game + Linux on a search engine or Youtube as another alternative to see if it works. After you get to know what of your current games works and doesn't work, you could make an informed choice. Though you might also want to consider that there could be games in the future that you would like to play, but those ones won't work on Linux. Cloud gaming does exist as an option, but I don't know how you feel about that. There's also dual-booting, where you can have multiple operating systems installed and you can use whichever you'd like. You could also try out Linux in virtual machines to know if you'd like it enough, or to get more familiar with it before switching, if you will.
