I somehow managed to 1CC PCB on normal with a shot-type I have practically never used (SakuyaB)
I mean I bombed through the entirety of it, but at least I've got my second 1CC.

The easiest and fastest way is through THcrap. It holds your hand during the setup, but if you need help on how to do it, there are instructions on the Touhou patch center. You could also hard patch it, but I really can't help you with that.

From the looks of it, the most popular upload (And one of the older ones) of "Rampaging Sakuya" on Youtube got copyright striked.

I knew about Touhou for some time, but never chose to interact with anything Touhou related until January or February of this year. At some point I just decided looked deeper into what Touhou was, and downloaded a few games. I really never thought that I'd enjoy a bullet hell.

It probably was "Rampaging Sakuya." (Unfortunately I don't have the flash version. Very sad) It's a pretty popular flash animation.

I generally don't feel like starting with Touhou 6 is a really good idea for newcomers. Touhou 6 is one of the harder games in the Touhou series and could be a little overwhelming for newcomers. I think that Touhou 7, 8 or 4 would be better choices to get started with the Touhou games, as they are easier (especially Touhou 8 which is regarded as the easiest game in the first windows era), they also felt more player friendly for me. I'm not saying you can't start with Touhou 6, I'm just saying that it's not really the best idea for newcomers that don't really know what they are getting into.
