  1. what would I want? Manifestation. A little focus and willpower creating and manipulating the world around me. Sounds broken, but the trick is that the illusions are also dispellable by others if their will/disbelief decrees it. what would I get? idunno, probably, the ability to start fights with casual conversation.
  2. It gets really annoying that google play/spotify/etc only keep english labels around. Makes keeping up to date on touhou themes & in general foreign music a job in and of itself.

  3. Leave it to a weekend of game planning & development to punctuate the sour aftertaste of the 9-5 humdrum.

  4. One of these days I'll figure out the Satori craze... and I'll likely be disappointed with it.

  5. Pondering the ethicality of claiming ownership of fictitious characters and the futility of humanizing them.

  6. Granted this isn't a neutral space, but I'm still surprised at the number of people selecting Suwako avatars. Didn't think it'd be a character that grows on people considering her biggest official appearance was in Hisoutensoku, or did I miss a release?

  7. Sifting through the old Proboards forums is an odd experience, I'd think akin to urban exploration &/or spelunking, but I've never done either.

  8. Today is the day to venture forth! FORSOOTHE AND VERILY GOOD SIRS! right after coffee...

  9. well this exists:

  10. def war(): pass

  11. If I were to translate the bullet patterns from touhou to DnD is there any reason NOT to start with  touhou10?

  12. My brain is currently stuck on designing a touhou themed boardgame...

  13. Granted I wasn't the mastermind of this operation but as I see it. 1) We'll see if hard mode is too much, but there's also a concern of players that hard mode is too easy for them. If needed the contest will be adjusted to a different difficulty on the next event we can. 2) I believe that's player choice 3) Losing all your lives does not disqualify you of winning, it just makes it less likely that you would. 3.5) I'd think that we'd like the timestamp of a replay to be within the 2 week period of the event (I could be wrong though) 4) Livestreams could count if you got a moderator of the event to witness it, replays would be easier to coordinate imo 5) You shouldn't need to change any of your account nicknames to qualify, so long as it can be verify who's video was posted and who the reward is being sent to. 6) Contestants would likely need to procure themselves the game (maybe check the moriya shrine main site?) 7) Git Gud, jokingly of course. But all contestants will be facing the same challenge, the main measure of success here is going to be perseverance. As said above the contest can be adjusted on the next run. As for concern of the game chosen, it was a vote given to the Moriya Shrine community so... we dug our own grave if it's too difficult. I apologize if this comes across argumentative, but it is the way I see these points of contention being resolved.
  14. O.o someone managed to join the old forums while it was in maintenance mode.

  15. The series of events for this to happen... it boggles the mind.
  16. I have successfully trained my phone to suggest "Little Frog" for blank inputs.

  17. Ya'know... it's a bit weird, but looking over these I'm realizing how odd it was for me to have actually found the Moriya Shrine Forums by looking for forums...
  18. Fighting a sudden urge to play Soku at work... something tells me Suwako pummeling other touhou characters doesn't have much to do with car parts.

  19. Probably mid way through high school i had a liking for techno and anime osts. With youtube being the primary free music source at the time it was inevitable that the touhou themes came up. Got hooked on the remixes and looked into the source. While the bullet hell was interesting, i didnt get hooked on anyone/thing until playing swr.
  20. Huh... "Bullet Hell" by Richaadeb is a new release on Google Music... Rock renditions of a wide medley of touhou themes.
