Hello to anyone reading this, apparently an introductions page exists on this forum, so I think giving an introduction here would be appropriate. I think? (I don't know if I'm late here and I don't have an account on Moriya Shrine, but I have been reading since at least the part where Marisa and Oscar meet released last year. This is one of my favorite stories I've read on this website. Sorry I don't have much to say.) from Gensokyo Survival Guide OoC and Off-Topic is, so far, my only post here. I made the account essentially just to post on how much I like that fanfiction (Gensokyo Survival Guide). I did not even have an idea what to name the account, so it is just 'No Account Name Idea'. A user named kymoh called me nanashi, which I think is a nice name (it literally means anonymous though). It reminds me of pineapples (ananas in a bunch of languages). Another fanfiction here that is nice is War, Peace and Vengeance. I started liking Touhou at least in 2023 or possibly early in 2024? Because I clicked on a video of Cirno's UNL theme and 9 Destiny - It's Always Cirno's Turn after I watched Teto Territory. Then I found out Travelling Days by Crazy Beats. I didn't really pay much attention at the time, so I don't know when this happened or over how long, but I ended up on the Touhou Fandom Wiki (which got raided) looking for 9 Destiny's lyrics. I haven't played any official Touhou games, but I do play Thousand Night Anamnesis and Phantom Bullet (mobile Touhou fangames) alongside Len'en (Touhou-inspired Bullet Hell series) and Little Doll Queen (Touhou fangame on computer). i found some crayons that i havent touched since grade school and thought "hey i can do something with these" and then well, uhmm... yeah its telling of my ability to color isn't it...

Imma be real with you man, I have absolutely no idea, haven't colored anything since yesterday qnd before that since grade school. But i think it's the quality of the pencil since i did have color pencil back then (they were of assorted brands) and i remember some not sticking very well on the paper making the color pop less so i tossed those aside in favor of a same color one but from a different brand. But it looking gray is bit odd, I had it happen when i was messing around with the crayons but that was because they were touching each other for who knows how long do their colors got melded together. Guess I should get some to figure this one out

I use Arch Linux as my main operating system, I switched from Windows 10 because I was starting to dislike how Windows did things and I was starting to become more privacy conscious. I use i3 as my window manager and SDDM for my desktop manager. I play mostly Roblox, Etterna, and some Steam games but I haven't actually tried to get Touhou to work on Linux. I have a small Windows 10 partition for Final Fantasy XVI, Stepmania (I haven't been able to get my L-Tek Pro 2 to work </3), Touhouh games, and some other things that don't work on Linux. Sorry, I don't mean anything negative when I say this but I felt something in me when I read this. I think Linux is very underappreciated lately. The belief that Linux can't play games is for the most part outdated. I play a lot of Steam games and to my suprise most games that I play actually work flawlessly. It's not difficult to get running either, you just need to download steam and Proton-GE, take a minute to configure a couple settings within the Steam client and you're pretty much done, forever. The exception for this is getting Nvidia drivers to work, it was kind of difficult for me. At least that's what I did, it may be different based on your hardware or distro. Though it is true that a lot of really popular games such as League of Legends, Destiny, or Valorant don't work or have difficulty working under Linux. If you're still considering making the switch, you can consult https://www.protondb.com/ to check what Steam games you play are compatible or not. If you're concerned about Performance, I suggest using a lightweight desktop environment like XFCE or going with a window manager instead, like i3. Linux is still ultimately for developers who are able and willing to learn a whole new OS and take time to solve problems, so I would say to expect to run into an issue every now and then, and if that happens then there are many communities online that will help you, such as the Arch Linux discord server or r/linux4noobs. 嘘, all the coloring looks very neat and the shading is very nice. Though the hands kinda look like she has jaundice lmao, but I guess that's just a product of using grade 1 crayons. Oh and pro tip: Chomping on crayons tend to kill you, but I haven't fact checked this yet

My windows drive broke down not long ago so I've been living with this I used to have a very organized desktop too ;-;
