  1. Found the download link for リグルイ1.5 on the developer's website, so that takes care of the bonus Wriggle game in the Wriggle magazines. https://web.archive.org/web/20130830115623/http://28.pro.tok2.com/~bonyoh/touhou/xmas2011.html

  3. Sorry for the double-post. My hand slipped while typing and that resulted in an incomplete post. My bad. Second reason, I'm currently hunting a piece of MMD animation that was recently reposted on Bilibili and simply named "【东方老物】东方文花帖 附赠CD提取PV". I for the life of me am unable to find anything relevant related to that animation. Search engines are of absolutely no help. There are 2 other reprints on Bilibili but none of them has a source and one of them even states having idea where that comes from. The fact that there are no credits in the video doesn't help. The only thing one can figure out is that it's based on 東方文花帖 (presumably Double Spoiler) and that it apparently was released on DVD. I'm unable to trace back the original product. So if anyone has heard of it and remembers when and where it was released, you're welcome. The music used for this PV is an arrangement of 少女秘封倶楽部 that some of you might recognize. That will be it for the moment, but I'd like to bring your attention to lost MMD models, in particular those by Mudspike/ImpulseJP. Everyone remembers their Marisa, but less their maid and enemy fairies models. Marisa is still available on 3d.nicovideo.jp but the fairies are lost to time. It's sad to see such iconic models (notably very brilliantly used by カーボン士 on Let's Take This Outside!!) vanish. One of their filenames were: - zakofairy20131223.zip - fairymaid20130820.zip They were also part of a very old torrent named "Touhou MMD model data" which indeed today is broken (only 27.5%). I really doubt someone still have the entirety of this torrent on their hard drive but one can always hope. In the future, if interested I may share more obscure animation (not totally lost but unavailable in decent quality for 2020s standards).

  4. Hello everyone, I finally attempted to overcome my legendary laziness. Firstly, I would like to thank anyone who posted in this topic. This is a true goldmine! I'm also glad my previous contributions on /jp (yes, post 33725346 on thread 33578796 was me) proved useful to the thread and actually helped Denist make his lost media video. Now about [東方] ハルノカケラ by シオビ, I swear I saw the original source posted on post 1 once. Anyway, this was originally posted on a BBS (see post 57), and its download link was thankfully saved by the Wayback Machine. This is actually the original source, before being uploaded to Nico. The reasons I'm posting are in fact the following: I'd like to share another very recent meltdown from Japanese MMDer aja. They have been active from 2010 up to 2022 (with a long hiatus between 2014 and 2021). Just like with たぴこ, this is genuinely one of those cases where you really wish the author would never come back rather than do that. While their work were nothing extraordinary, they were one of the very first into making Touhou MMD starting from 2011. This is what their Nico profile looked like (the account has been nuked). Unfortunately, I only saved a few videos, as I was only interested in their (not so bad) 幻想闘演目 MMD drama series. 4 or so episodes were produced with a presumably lost episode (due to HDD failure) resurfaced in 2021. If anyone has the rest (which is very unlikely), please share. Meanwhile, this is what I saved.

  5. I was trying to find something like this for a while. Searching "World's End" gives all sorts of answers instead of correct one. There is also a good theme in Touhou Mahjong, but I didn't find it anywhere else.

  6. Hello. I want to make a small announce. Lately, I have been preparing a post about evolution of Touhou Doujin. It is based on works by researchers of Touhou Doujin and statistical data from doujin sales events. And there is a problem why I have not finished it yet. There are two big databases which can be used for getting macro indicators of Touhou Doujin: TESC (mostly used by Japanese) and THBWiki (mostly used by Chinese). Both of them have serious problems: THBWiki counts only the number of taken places (and doesn't count the number of circles) and the data is mostly unfilled for events past 2019-2021 (like here); TESC doesn't add a lot of events (for example in 2018 they didn't add at least 8 events, in 2019 - 9 events, in 2020 - 26 events (most of them are canceled though, but TESC include info about canceled events)). But from the side of getting macro indicators TESC's data is better, but it is not enough. So all this time I have been collecting data about different Touhou Doujin events and making the database (based on TESC's database, data by THBWiki and a lot of data from other places) for researching the evolution of Touhou Doujin. Because I don't want to make conclusions which are based on nothing, so I cannot continue without that data. That is why I was not very active lately and why I haven't finished the post yet. I hope I will finish filling data and will finish the post this month.
