Yep the story really got intense all of a sudden! And I am definitely NOT taking any chances with this scary six-eyed mess. I voted late, but I went with the flash bang option, I'm thinking it's best to utilize whatever reliable items Oscar has. We I know nothing about this youkai and if I were him, I'm not about to take chances trying to befriend it or play tricks with paper doors! And while reading the grimoire sounds funny, remember that Oscar can't even read Japanese! How useless would that be! (I suppose he could throw the book at the monster, which might actually be more effective) I agree with you and Master Gri, this scary yokai encounter got me filled with suspense :D I can vividly picture the scene in my head and the horror I see on Cirno & Wriggle's faces is definitely a sight I wish I could share to you all Interesting ideas! I hadn't thought about Cirno&Wriggle being immune from getting hung - speaking of which, I feel like you always catch useful points that I miss- Also, imagining the youkai's disappointment made me crack a smile :) I find it funny when seemingly emotionless monsters expose some human personality As a final note, I wonder if the crease in the paper wall was referencing to a yokai? Because in that case the team might be very screwed- they're going to have trouble running from the current monster if the walls suddenly start jumping at them :O Alright, I think I've rambled randomly for long enough now. Forgive me for being so inactive and late recently >.<

I've met too many people and made too many friends to leave my Touhou era, besides there's just so much content available for me to CONSUME that I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. Also patchouli is in touhou so

It's not a phase it's my life! Joking aside, the reason I remain a touhou fan is because of the community :) I always see so many talented fans -artists, musicians, writers, game developers, and on and on- making amazing fanworks that never fail to blow me away! I love being able to search "touhou [insert genre here]" and see tons of cool remixes! And when I'm not watching all kinds of touhou content, there's big touhou events like Touhoufest where I can meet fellow touhou fans in person :D

kind of explanatory similar to that of my characters forum. was the reason why you stayed is because of the characters, the fact touhou is still ongoing and wait to see more? or maybe just the fact its all a banger soundtracks and remixes? for me, this era of mine came after my nintendo era, its the fact they copyright everything and take down everything in sight, but touhou? the copyright is almost not there, just follow ZUN's rules and youre sailing, the amount of freedom is amazing with doing whatever we want as long as we follow ZUN's rules, yknow? but yeah, everything from touhou is a banger and there's something for everyone in touhou. plus crossovers too!! how about you?

Not this time Yume... Hello everyone, it's always funny to see how everyone gathers here around this time! To keep things short, flashbang has been one of my closest allies since immemorial times along with the trusty smoke grenade, when I saw that option, something inside me screamed that it was the best course of action, until I read Yume's line above me, so despite being skeptical at Ozzy's Japanese skills like my ally pointed out, I felt like it was a risk worth taking for a breakthrough in the magic side of things. Mostly because we can only go so far with funny tricks and bravado... Speaking of which, tonight's options are a bit more troublesome than usual, hiding in the jars feels like another Scooby-Doo type of action and it could lead to another horror scene of the youkai trying to find Team 9, going up the stairs is probably the "safe" option but it would likely keep us from going downstairs again, then there is the going through a wall into the streets option but that would be counterproductive unless we want to stop the expedition here. That leads me to the "risky" choice! I feel like this "I have no neck!" could be another magic trick (those are quickly becoming my favorites) and if we successfully pull this off then maybe we can deactivate this Youkai like Yumetou mentioned in the Ao Bozu entry, basically a high risk but high reward choice.

Ao Bozu ‘Blue Monk’ An enigmatic Youkai with a multitude of descriptions. To some it is a towering blue-skinned giant. To others, it is a small child. They can be virtually any size, with any number of eyes, in any number of locations. This enigmatic and contradictory being was first recorded by Toriyama Sekien, with only its name as a description. Its color denotes inexperience or immaturity, making its full name a commentary on the unskilled novices of the Buddhist priesthood. Ao Bozu may appear in barley, millet or wheat fields during sunset. Here they wait for children to snatch and kidnap. Other times they are human-sized figures who appear late at night down dark streets. Terrorizing women and children with the question ‘Would you like to hang by your neck?’ If one refuses, it vanishes. If ignored, it will attack with surprising speed. Other times they are giants who appear in abandoned homes, or child-sized travelers who challenge wanderers to sumo-wrestling contests. Due to its unknown nature and varied attributes, it is wise to treat this Youkai with extreme caution. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= As the figure lumbered forward into the hall, Oscar could feel Agappa letting go of his leg. Scurrying as quickly as she could, she dove for one of the pillars, scrambling her way up towards the supportive struts overhead. The sorcerer didn’t have time to get her down. The shambling beast was approaching his two friends fast. The frightened pair was shaken from their terror as Cirno’s face hardened. Interposing herself between the awkward giant and Wriggle, she held out a hand. Cold mustering in her palm as she focused all the energy that she could into it. She didn’t have time for Perfect Freeze, and she doubted anything else would really stop it. But she had to try. Ice formed in the palm of her hand, magic pulling water from the air and the rot in the walls. The familiar warmth built in her chest as she pulled all she could. Teeth gritting as those eyes glowered down at her. “Would you like to hang by your--” In an instant, the flare of a red satin cape engulfed the two of them as Oscar stood over the two. His hands thrust out, the gloved hands making a set of motions before his palms extended towards the lumbering blue face which crept ever closer. “SHAZAM!” A sound like thunder burst from the man’s hand. A flare of light more like lightning than a lantern or fire. The beast roared. Hands rising to its eyes. Before the arms of Oscar surrounded the two, and he ran. His fancy shoes rang out on the wooden floor as he sprinted. Cape billowing after him doing little favors. Cirno hung from under one arm, her half-formed ice magic in one hand. Wriggle held under the other. Cirno was still stunned from everything that had happened, from her fight with Wriggle to their escape. The youkai on the other hand was faster to regain her senses. She glared up at Oscar, a low growl escaping her. “Are you going to stop running and fight that youkai?!” “Working on it.” The answer wasn’t his best. But it was the best he could manage. Even as he spoke, he heard a roar rising as though from three throats. The thing lumbered after him blindly. Using a long, powerful forearm to propel itself with surprising grace to compensate for its less impressive limbs. Oscar dared not look back as wooden beams snapped behind him, and stone jars shattered. Rooms whipping by to either side. The thing roaring after him. “I will hang you by your neck!” He raced on, passing rooms long ago left to barren neglect. There was a warehouse full of rotten wooden boxes, a room with a low table and faded screens. And a low room that descended down a set of stairs into a dark foreboding atmosphere. Of course, there were other routes. The yellowed paper walls tinting the light a sickly yellow, could always simply be broken through. Or he could just return the way he came up the stairs. Or he could try something a little more tricky… Whatever it was, he knew he should do it fast. The monster was getting closer… =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= = "Don't worry girls! We will lose him in the mason jars! He'll never find the right one." = "But Mister Youkai...I have no neck!" = "Cirno! We're running by the cellar stairs again. I need you to freeze the ground in front of it!" = "Hold on tight girls! We're breaking through the wall out into the street!"

[6] -> *The earthquake has shaken Gensokyo, everyone has taken notice of it, if magnitudes exists in Gensokyo, this magnitude is around 8.4...* Marisa: "Huh!? An earthquake? There hasn't been one in years!" Alice: "I know! What's happening!?" -> *And everywhere, it IS everywhere in Gensokyo.* Sanae: "Kanako-sama! What's this earthquake about!?" Kanako: "I bet it's that Tenshi girl again, Suwako, help out Sanae-ch- I mean Sanae-san!" Suwako: "Will do, Kanako! C'mon, Sanae." -> *While Sanae and Suwako find out if this is caused by Tenshi, even she took notice.* Tenshi: "Hmph... someone is causing an earthquake without me?" Iku: "Tenshi, please.. for the love of god, don't get involved, it's not you." Tenshi: "WHO CARES! I wanna party with whoever is making this! Wahahaha!" Sanae: "Stop right there, Tenshi Hinanawi!" Tenshi: "Ugh, this Sanae girl..." Suwako: "Hey! Please don't cause more earthquakes!" Tenshi: "Eh? This wasn't caused by me but..! Hyaah!" -> *Tenshi kicks her keystone she was standing on to the ground before sitting on a smaller one.* Tenshi: "Told- oomph!" -> *Iku casually slaps Tenshi on the back of her head.* Tenshi: "Watch it, Iku! I'm more powerful than you and you know that!" -> *Tenshi's keystone finally slams onto the ground causing an extra 1.0 magnitude to the earthquake.* Iku: "Waah! Sanae.. Suwako! Defeat her, I don't want more earthquakes for another millennium!" Sanae: "On it!" -> Meanwhile... -> *The glass that held the so called "Great Furnace Sun" within the center of the furnace room has started to crack, on purpose.* Reimu: "... What's with that sun?" Utsuho: "They'll always ask me this, everyone who comes in this room... yet it's story is still fascinating." Reimu: "Yeah, yeah, okay but get straight to it." -> *As the crack worsens, Utsuho stops herself.* Utsuho: "Long ago, as I was still a young hell raven, this sun started to burn. It's an artificial sun made from previous hell ravens, amongst those ravens was its leader, my mother. Rikuto Reiuji. Rikuto lead the youkai ravens to this very hell, long before hell moved. But once hell moved when I was only real young.." -> *Utsuho stares off to the side and stares at the sun.* Utsuho: "After this sun was created, when it was only dim, the move of hell happened. Rikuto, everyone, vanished before my eyes. Today, the small amount of non-youkai hell ravens that live here were the undeveloped off-spring of the vanished hell ravens." Reimu: "So.. what did you do?" Utsuho: "As I grew, I lead those ravens to establish this hell as still an inhabited hell. That's when I met.. Orin. She brought me to Satori where I was adopted as her pet..." Reimu: "But why the incident?" Utsuho: "Which one?" Reimu: "The first one you caused." Utsuho: "... well, it was all for revenge... AGAINST THOSE YAMA WHO DARE MADE MY RACE ALMOST EXTINCT!" -> *Reimu realized the true reason. Maybe Utsuho was doing something right for her own species. She created the incident as a warning to the yama by taking over the world.* Reimu: "... do you know where's Rikuto?" Utsuho: "She was departed off, into the Sanzu River, never to be seen again..." Reimu: "I'll be good to you." Utsuho: "Hey thanks, but let's resume the rule over Gensokyo!" -> Somewhere in the furnace room, a gap just opens. On the other end, Yukari and Yuyuko watches... disappointment from Yukari.* Yukari: "This is so embarrassing." Yuyuko: "Hey, you don't have to complain about her. Maybe she'll snap out of-" Yukari: "Yuyuko, you don't know her. If she's insane, she'll not snap out of it until her goal is achieved. Now she's lost." Yuyuko: "I see..." Yukari: "She's a failure to the Hakurei Shrine... teaming.. TEAMING UP WITH A YOUKAI, A YOUKAI WHO WANTS TO TAKE OVER GENSOKYO AGAIN!?" Yuyuko: "Hey... chill out... think of a plan where-" Yukari: "She knows what happens if she fails her occupation..." -> *Yuyuko stares out into the gap, choosing between an acquittance and her closest friend. The choice is obvious.* Yukari: "Now that she has failed... she must.. she must die, in the least symbolic way possible. YOU'VE PICKED YOUR DEATH, HAKUREI REIMU!" Yuyuko: "I've got a plan... but only if you want to follow my plans this time." Yukari: "Kuu.. fiiiineee..." -> AUTHOR'S NOTE: Yay, we got Utsuho's backstory and even some REAL plot development!! Good job, Koakuma Reiuji, you've actually done real plot development for once!! Of course, Rikuto Reiuji is only a original character I made.

[5] -> *Utsuho's panic leads her nowhere, she looks both sides, seeing where Rin once was before being burnt, vengeful spirits lying on the ground, Mizuchi trying to heal herself. She then turns to Reimu.* Utsuho: "Reimu Hakurei! What's wrong with you!?" Reimu: "WRONG WITH ME? I'LL SWEAR TO YOU THERE WILL BE NOTHING WRONG AFTER I- HYAA!" -> *Reimu quickly lunges at Utsuho but she dodges it.* Utsuho: "Reimu! Stop, this isn't helping!" -> *Reimu's gohei gets swinged and clashes against Utsuho's arm, blocking it.* Reimu: "IF I CAN'T KILL A YOUKAI LIKE YOU, THEN HOW WOULD I FUFILL MY TITLE HAS A YOUKAI EXTERMINATER!?" -> *Reimu keeps pressuring her gohei on Utsuho's arm, trying to make it hit her.* Reimu: "THIS IS HOW A HAKUREI MIKO DOES HER JOB. IF I CAN'T DO IT, THEN WHO'S FAULT IS IT REALLY!?" Utsuho: "This makes no sense, Reimu. Stop!" -> *Reimu then swifts behind Utsuho, and before she can dodge or stop it, Reimu punches Utsuho high up to where she slams into the Nuclear Furnace ceiling.* Utsuho: "I-is.. that... all you got...?" -> *Reimu then throws her gohei like a boomerang which is gonna approach Utsuho.* Utsuho: "Hah!? No, can't fail... this time!" -> *Utsuho stands herself upside down on the ceiling before pouncing onto Reimu below her, along with dodging the oncoming gohei. However, this counter was useless. Utsuho missed and Reimu grabbed her by the legs and slammed her into the furnace, causing a small crack on the window protecting the sun inside.* Utsuho: "N-not the furnace!" Reimu: "GIVE UP, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT YOU BIRDBRAINED IDIOT!" Utsuho: "B-birdbrained... idiot?" -> *Utsuho was in shock, but before she can say a word she got hit by the "There's a Shrine Maiden in a Gap!" move, sending Utsuho flying to the same direction as the furnace, leaving the crack to increase in size.* Utsuho: "YOU... YOU FILTHY MAIDEN!" -> *Utsuho charged at Reimu, tackling her in the sky before that was blocked by Reimu's gohei.* Reimu: "GIVE IT UP, I'LL NOT FAIL MY JOB AGAIN!" -> *Reimu grabbed Utsuho by the arm and threw her across the furnace again, this time Utsuho stopped herself.* Utsuho: "S-STOP IT! I- ..." -> *Utsuho has gotten an idea. Someway to redo the event she wanted to do...* Utsuho: "Maybe... you can help me..." -> *Reimu stopped herself before she hit Utsuho.* Reimu: "Help you in WHAT, birdbrained idiot." Utsuho: "... What do you think I want prior to this battle?" Reimu: "To take over the world, again! What is this about?" Utsuho: "You have done well in taking me down in my past attempt..." -> *Utsuho started to float around Reimu in circles.* Utsuho: "You've became allies with Satori-sama, almost like you're ruling along with her. Yet, you're just still allies." -> *Reimu still awaiting for the offer from Utsuho, watching as she circles her. Reimu crosses her arms, still impatiently waiting.* Reimu: "... go on, birdbrain." Utsuho: "... so... I want to take over again. You're powerful enough, and even went into pure insanity over Orin's death." Reimu: "... that is true." Utsuho: "Will you join me into taking over the world... again?" -> *Utsuho extended her hand, awaiting for a handshake.* Utsuho: "With your knowledge of the aboveground, you're a worthy ally in the battlefield." -> *Utsuho smiles, knowing her manipulation should be successful. Reimu looks down at the hand, considering everything, betraying her own kind? That's another step into considering the manipulation.* Reimu: "What do I get in return if this is successful?" Utsuho: "All of Gensokyo! You and I shall rule over Gensokyo and have those as slaves, even Yukari Yakumo! Plus, you'll get all the Yen you want, as being treated like some goddess!" Reimu: "All the Yen... enslaving all of Gensokyo... doesn't that..." -> *With Reimu's pause, Utsuho felt some excitement in her, awaiting for Reimu to take the offer.* Utsuho: "With your extreme youkai extermination powers and my nuclear fusion that even gods cower, it'll be a slice of cake.. whatever cake is..." Reimu: "Doesn't that... sound like a deal." -> *Reimu extends her hands to shake Utsuho's. Sealing the deal...* Utsuho: "You'll be an amazing ally..." -> *Utsuho backs away and extends her right arm, this then follows by the arm cannon forming on the arm.* Utsuho: "It's good to do it again..." -> *Once the arm cannon finished forming, she extends it into the air making a sun that then explodes. The explosion causes the earthquake that'll shake the place until the surface is cracked open.* Reimu: "What does this do?" Utsuho: "Oh, Reimu. This shall crack the surface open which will release the furnace, you, and I. YOU'VE GOT YOURSELF A DEAL, REIMU HAKUREI!" -> AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a point where the story for future chapters changed while still keeping the past chapter's stories. It might get a little confusing onward, I apologize greatly if that's the case!

Hey there, I said that I'd write an upcoming post but I didn't because school works were getting in the way... Wow... that was a long time, it's like I.... Kept you waiting, huh? Omg, that sounded kinda corny or smth, lol. I have not check in with this site for awhile now so there are so much posts to go through that I want to read!!! ahhhh. Anyways, the game that I'm going to talk about today is !!!!! Metal gear solid 3: Snake Eater. I've played every MGS games except for some of the ones in chronological order (yes I decided to play through the series this way, the plot i actually kinda easy to understand too). I like every MGS games, well actually this is one of my favorite series, I've played through every game except for MGS3 and the ones I haven't played yet. But I do have a feeling that if I play MGS3 again, I'd like it. Did you know MGS Delta is coming out? (I know, great timing to make this post) It's a remake of MGS3, but I do think they should have remade other games that need to be remade (like the 1st 2 games of the series), but hey, whatever makes the most money in the easiest way for Konami right? They reused the engine from MGSV too, but there's is definitely more work put into this new game tho... plus the game isn't out yet so I can't really say anything much. The original MGS3 felt like a james bond movie of some sorts, but I don't want to compare the 2 like that because I haven't watched any 007 movies and MGS is unique on it's own. I don't know if it's Hideo Kojima (creator of the series) or not, but they really bought a lot of licenses for some of these songs! Uhm.... actually I think it's only one song (the song Way to Fall) but it's just a guess tho, cus I don't really know. I hope you're a bit familiar with this game now if you haven't heard of it before! This game, chronologically, is the 1st game in the series (and the 1st game that I played), but I won't go any further than that! Some of the songs I listed here are OSTs that I like, so if you feel like there aren't a lot of "in-game" related OSTs, then this is why, hope you understand haha. Stay tuned for the next one! The first song is totally gonna be cool... I really should make time for reading and posting man... Also, I'm going to post alot more music from this series, but please don't think that I'm "MILKING" this series to write many many posts, I really do like the OSTs of the series! I just post what I like on here.

Piracy generally stems from 2 things: the price and the accessibility of the pirated product. In this case you ran into the latter reason because had they provided you with a good service that got you to the game you were clearly willing to purchase you would have. Of course, you must keep in mind that I am a European (is it now a European or an European?), and I encourage you to come to your own conclusion. A good rule of thumb to know whether people in general would consider pirating a product, whether that be a game, a book or a music disc, is the service. If Nintendo put their legacy games on a modern console and/or let people who own the legacy systems buy the legacy games, chances are people would buy those games instead of pirate them illegally. The price is also a factor, but that is because games are a very cheap type of luxury for the middle class most of the time... So when that class can't afford the game, like in Brazil where games on average cost a quarter of their minimum wage, of course they're going to pirate it because people are not going to pay that much for a small luxury. A combination of the two reasons would be people pirating movies. Netflix mostly stopped people from doing that because it was a relatively cheap platform that had a very large catalogue of basically every single movie under the sun. Then the streaming boom happened and those movies were now scattered around places, with each area being locked behind a monthly subscription paywall which, as you've likely already guessed, caused people to pirate movies again. You then also have the case of companies no longer providing support for the older games and making anyone that just wants to play those games pay for another game that has the older game in it in order to maximize profits; which in my opinion is companies overstepping their bounds and should be pirated, not bought, in order to send a message to whatever greed-infected being thought that was a good idea. Those are the good ways piracy is used, there is also a gigantic amount of rotten apples who just want free games without the hassle of actually working in order to buy them, but it is safe to assume that none of us belong to that group. I personally find that the work that has to be done in order to buy a work to be a part of the satisfaction of the work. I also pirate games if I'm unsure of whether or not the price they charge is worth the value I get out of it, with whether or not I buy it being dependent on my own judgment (largely favouring the company). But those are the reasons that I base the ethics of piracy on.
