  2. I graduated from college this year. College has good and bad things, and your experience varies a lot depending on your course, institution and country. High school was way worse, honestly. High school was a hellscape to me. You can't get anything in high school to matter because in my country it's all a race to milk the grades as much as possible so you can have a remote opportunity to enter the college course you want. The evaluation methods are based on memory and repetition rather than understanding and creating, and I always stressed with the little time we have for tests. The memory-based evaluation approach does not accurately evaluate your competence in a certain field, but it seems that it helps "normal" people get higher grades (so much that now the grades of all HS in my country are inflated, making entering college even harder and more inaccurate). All of this is done while you are a teenager full of hormones in a class of many other teenagers full of hormones. Due to the memory-based evaluation approach, high school can crush some of your interests completely. I like maths, I like algorithms and functions and developing logical solutions, and yet my maths grades dropped to negative in 12th grade!!! Math is all about logic, understanding, solving problems, but in the end of 11th grade and the whole 12th grade, all that mattered was memorizing formulas, memorizing exercises, memorizing specific things we did in class and I despise it. As for college entry, while applying for a postgrad or masters is mostly curriculum-based (which is great), applying for the bachelor is not, instead it's based on all of your HS grades + national exams (you can imagine why physical education's grades influencing your entry on, let's say, an engineering degree is really stupid). College itself was a much better experience, but I still felt that I was underwhelming and wasting my time. While you do many more theoretical works, research works and practical projects/exams rather than traditional written tests, you still feel like none of this matters, as you waste 3 hours (normal length of a single class) for something that could be done in maybe 1 hour. If you are self-taught in your special interest area or you like the idea of learning by yourself at home, you will find college very unnecessary, because you are wasting time, money and social energy on what could be done at home. So why do you go to college? Some fields require a more formal and organized education plan so you can be truly skilled at your craft (medicine for example), but not all fields require formal institutions to obtain competence and mastery (computer science, IT, software development, etc, my special interest), so you mostly attend college because you have to, because you need that diploma for opportunities or you need that networking for the internship after you finish your degree (which is not guaranteed, not all courses and institutions provide you an internship opportunity). My parents told me that college was going to be where I find my true friends, my best friends for life, but as a shy/anxious introvert who is most likely autistic I'll tell you that I only talked to 1 classmate regularly, and our relationship wasn't that close given that we stopped interacting when we graduated. Other people formed friend circles either because they already knew each other or they somehow telepathically communicated with each other and automatically became good friends. Most of my classmates didn't really develop any chemistry with me or an interest in being my friends, because we were too different I guess. Not only that but I developed a handful of enemies. Most of these people were overly political arrogant, condescending people that didn't like my presence or despised me for not having the same political beliefs as them (college is known for its very political environment in fields of art, media, literature, philosophy, etc etc). I suggest you pursue what you truly like in college, because otherwise you won't have the patience or energy to invest effort into your work and study. It's not worth it to risk studying at a field you don't like and then be sad that this is your job, or not even be able to find a job. Despite my hardcore interest being computer science and IT, I actually graduated in audiovisual, because I had in mind that for a professional context this field would be more fun, since I also like doing digital art. Not only that but a 16/20 HS average grade wouldn't be enough for me to enter computer engineering due to the HS grade inflation problem, and none of my software projects and skills/knowledge matter for getting into the course because applying for a bachelor isn't curriculum-based!!!!!!!!!! Despite my graduation, I want to work in software development, cybersecurity or system administration, nothing related to audiovisual, but I find it hard to get a job from just sending CVs. In today's world it's very hard to get employed unless you have connections. Networking is all that matters, but a shut-in introvert like me has no networking. I did apply for a cybersecurity postgrad and I believe I have very good odds of entering it, but until then I'll stay a NEET, and if I don't get a job opportunity while studying then I'll take the internship opportunity you get at the end of the postgrad.

  3. Hi, long time no see! This time there will be very few, and very dubious, but still finds. 1: Touhou on nicktoons??? I found a video from one guy, where they supposedly show a fan animation of touhou on Nicktoons. At the same time, he called the video lost media, and in the description it says that he downloaded it from some remote site. Honestly, it looks very much like a fake, but I decided to share. I would not pay much attention to this, if the same video was not posted on another channel. Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0b0efh64Qg https://youtube.com/shorts/NYxQemsnqMw?si=8ZuClr7hvzQ689rC https://youtu.be/mXhaZbv-m1s?si=DYYf8jT8BmMesIu5 2: KKHTA P*rn... Someone drew p*rn art based on KKHTA. It got noticed on Reddit. However, after some time, the author deleted the art. All that remains is a part of the art itself, its saved page on the Wayback Machine, which only shows a white background, and another version of the full art. Here are the links: Reddit post - https://www.reddit.com/r/Touhou_NSFW/comments/o37qx5/kkhta_sanae/ Original link to the page with the art - https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/81905628 Saved page - https://web.archive.org/web/20210619040807/https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/81905628 Another version of the full art - https://rule***34.us/index.php?r=posts/view&id=4766899 Don't ask me how I found this...

  4. On Youkai in the Human Villages In spite of its name, there are a number of Youkai who live inside the Human Village, or visit for its services. As the Village is well protected by the Myouren Temple, Otherworldly Ventures Extermination Division and the Incident Resolvers, most of these Youkai are benign and relatively friendly. However, their presence is feared and hated among many Natives who see them as intrusive or possibly dangerous. As such, most Youkai attempt to disguise themselves, or obfuscate their lack of humanity. Youkai can normally be found around the Myouren Temple, with Buddhism being a draw for them. Likewise, a smaller number may be found around the All Souls Chapel and the Outsider Quarter in general. Drawn either by the promise of religious acceptance or a sense of kinship with those not ‘pure’ enough for some villagers’ liking. In general, it is discouraged from naming these Youkai or drawing attention to them in public. While some Natives are accepting of them, others will find their presence a source of alarm. In the event of suspicion falling on one, they are advised to seek shelter at the Myouren Temple, All Souls Chapel or the Hakurei Shrine. If however you suspect a Youkai of being malicious, it is best you alert the Incident Resolvers listed in the back glossary, or contact the Extermination Division. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Chopsticks weren’t exactly a tool Oscar was used to. In fact, he ate the majority of his meal by hand rather than just with the chopsticks. Still, the clatter they made as they struck against the plate was pleasant. As pleasant as the warmth in his now full belly. For a few moments, the world around him didn’t matter. It didn’t matter he was poor, in a strange place, or had to sleep on a smelly old mattress. He was fed and surrounded by the closest thing he had to friends. Most of all, he was happy. “Ahh…” The stage magician sighed to himself. “Ahh…” The figures around him echoed, as though in agreement. Cirno lay with her back on the stool, limbs splayed to all sides. Wriggle leaned one elbow on the counter. Trying to pick at her teeth when she thought no one was looking. Mystia looked very satisfied as she idly crunched on a deep fried green bean across the counter. Daiyousei rubbed at her petite belly with both hands, eyes closed. And Agappa… ...Was picking up crumbs to eat with her chopsticks. As the day’s heat roiled all around them, the six of them sat in the shade. Savoring the weight in their bellies. Each of them had other things to do, he was sure. By the sounds of it, the four of them were normally in bed at this hour. They’d all made a lot of dishes for Mystia to deal with. And he had his own growing list of tasks to work on. But for a few moments more, they could all revel in their common happiness. It was Mystia who broke the silence, taking their dishes one by one as she brought them over to the sink to be washed. The warmth in the atmosphere was still there, but reality now seeped in around it. For a moment, Oscar pondered to himself. “Hey Mystia...do you need some help with the dishes?” “No, its fine.” She hummed back. Glancing back towards him with a smile. “After I’m done with them, I put them in a basin full of soap. That way they’re easier to wash when I get back to them in the evening.” ...It seemed across time and space, no one ever wanted to do dishes. Not even the mistress of the Night Sparrow Dining Hall. “Well...I guess I should go to check out the Fortune Teller’s home.” A familiar weighty silence dawned once more over the group. As sinister and pressing as any mention of Kimiko or Agappa-chan. As usual, it was Cirno who replied first. “Great! Maybe he left some nasty hexes around! I’ll freeze them with a wave of the hand.” The energetic fairy waved one hand overhead from where she lay with an adventurous grin. A moment before she slipped from her chair with a cry. Wriggle, resigned to not getting the tempura out of her teeth for now, let out a sigh. “I’ll come too. I don’t want you to get lost again like last night.” “Then let’s go!” Cirno said, standing up, one arm thrust into the air. “Dai-chan, you coming?” “I...think a cursed youkai den is too much for me.” Daiyousei replied, looking unsettled as she did. “I think I’ll go back to Heida and get some sleep.” “You and Osu-san are so brave, Cirno.” Mystia rejoined with a smile. One that made Wriggle’s brow furrow in displeasure. “I’m tired too. I’ll go with Daiyousei back to the temple.” Oscar’s eyes next went to Agappa. The figure in her bright yellow raincoat said nothing. Only nodding in reply. “Then we’re off! Adventure awaits!” The irrepressible ice fairy cheered. Before boldly leading Oscar, Wriggle and Agappa back into the village. Indeed, so determined was she that it took him half an hour to realize she had no idea where they were going… Cirno was saved the act of admitting her failure when the sight of a homestead, not far from the main road, came into view. It was similar to its neighbors. Not a replica like so many homes in urban or suburban America were, but its distinctions would have been subtle. Were it not in such a state of disrepair. The paper doors were shedding, the roof tiles falling. Weeds sprouted around a fallen stand in front of the building, and ugly stains were flecked onto the sign overhead. Purity seals were placed over the entrances and windows. Faded from many long months in the sun. The building simply sat there, like the corpse of an animal on the side of the road. Its bleak windows staring like empty sockets down at the four… =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= How do we get in? = "Here girls, let me show you what a 'rope trick' is." = "C'mon, let's try the front door." = "The windows are too obvious, and high up. Maybe there's a cellar entrance of some kind." = "Life has many entrances, if you know how to make them."
