OH HELLO THERE! Well, this is'nt the first time which i showing my new Touhou project in the community since i drawn the Orange redesign and the first post before everthing starts. And this project will call... Touhou Reshined Project, or you can call it a Unorthodox Project! Of course this will be a very unorthodox work due the project changes a lot of things when it comes about character design. And yes, we gonna have more male characters, enhanced characters designs, a inspirated Castlevania-Anime style (more next to Bloodstained actually), and of course, the PC-98 ones will return to the game. This is why i made a Tier List to organize how the characters will change (or not). You can think freely if the choices are good or not after seeing it, or even leave some recommendations on what i can improve... So yeah, this is the result of the redesign choices during the project with different topics. Only by seeing this you can see how i trying to make something very different, mainly in the Gender Swap part. By seeing how strange these changes can look like to everyone, this is why YOUR help will be important to the project be more satisfiying to our community in general. In the another words, if your favorite character is here, dont need to worry! You can suggest a cooler idea to make your character in following your recommendation. But anyway... Touhou Reshined Project will not have only that! It also will have the Print Work Stories and even Side Stories with a few new plot without changing the games and print works story. These Side Stories will happen i very ways, like to make a simplier plot or even telling about important events that dont have a big apparition the in games and some character origins. The good news it already have some confirmed Side Stories to be planned on: - Orange's Ressurgence - This story will tell what happen about Orange story after TH04 events into the Windows Era. It will tell how he return even more stronger! Is garanteed which will have even more stories based in the PC-98 characters, like the next one. - Demoniac Revenge - Shiki and the Makai demons strikes back in dominate Gensokyo after being defeated in TH05. Literally a new incident which looks like a sequel to Touhou 5. - Genso-Lunatic War - An more ilustrated story about the Lunatic War, the the Moon against Yukari. - Origins Arcs - Most of the characters gonna have a origin stories, like Byakuren, Reisen, Sanae, etc. So yeah... these informations is only the beginning for the Touhou Reshined Project one... I really dont know in what i can start first, like what character i gonna draw and neither what can be made next. Maybe being Pacthouli ou Saki, or even another idea recommenated by everyone, like adding some Side Story, a fix or even a drawing request. Hopelly i will expect to do something nice to everyone in creating Touhou Reshined even if the project needs to get improved in lot of things...

Hey everyone ^w^ I finally finished my first drawing to my new Touhou artwork that i was thiking about. With the community recommendations, i made a full redesign for Orange. And yep, i changed a lot at the point on turning her into a male character and i really wanted to do a different art style for something more... abstract. I tried to do something more inspirated in Ayami Kojima art style with a more simplier and more "anime" touch because the focus of the project is not to do something exaggerately realistic. About the design choises, i decided to inspirate in some characters to do it, like Rolento form Street Fighter series and also in Sun Wukong in the hat and stick. This is why he... is actually have a more oriental military design with more orange colors (because the original design almost dont have any orange colors) with a lot of scars in the body after being defeated by Reimu (this will be more explained in his side story). Finishing about him, this is how Orange will look like during the Windows era, or in another worlds, all the PC-98 characters will continue relevant in the story and will have like a time skip redesign with a backstory telling how they changed until the Windows Era. If you want to know more about the new project which i making, i can show the results for the Touhou Reshined Project in the next post :3

That's certainly a daunting task you've given yourself. Please don't overwork yourself, as you have already piqued my interest and it would be a shame if you suffered from self-induced burnout. While I assume you already have a general plan for the project's side stories, I would advise to follow the Youkai food chain (strength level) up from Orange, who would be near the bottom, and eventually learn all the intricacies of the Reshined Project as you go up the chain and meet people more acquainted with the predicament of... Shining Gensokyo. This would allow us to compare and contrast the differences and similarities of the Touhou Project with the Reshined Project. Also maybe, if you've been doing this for a while, maybe be open to suggestions on completely (or not so completely) original characters, though that is just hope that's speaking through me because god knows I can't share nor continue my own writing for more than two sessions, sigh. I'd also quite enjoy a take on the moving of Hell and thus the creation of Former Hell, which could function as a bundle of origin stories, an incident of the past, or the history behind a new incident, or all three together. There is quite a lot of story to be fished from there, to be honest. Though this entire tangent is something you shouldn't think about until the 11th Project Reshined Shrine Maiden and have a decent grasp of your own worldbuilding. Work on some of the things you already have in your head while you wait for suggestions, to then use those suggestions to deepen yourself in your own world. The daemonic war you outlined would be more so written as a bloody refugee crisis rather than an actual revenge war, if it is set between touhou 5 & 6, a while later, like Touhou 14 abouts, I could see a revenge war working like a revenge war instead of a mix of refugee crisis and revenge war. I'll save the rest of my recommendations for later, when asked and I have more time to write these bloody massive essays. Good luck and have fun!

Yep... About the face it was first time trying to do a more detailed skin colors without "damaging" his eyes. At least i tried... but man, i so gratefull to see your recomendation to improve more in the next drawings. Um, and about the next topic, i will post it already. I was playing Bloodstained yersterday to relax a little.

Awesome man!! All Orange fanart is good art! He looks super cool, I especially love the redesigned hat and forearm armor. You've also done great with the coloring and shading :) But maybe some more color on the face? Skin looks pretty pale... still, overall I love it! Please do!

idk what to post so imma yap something about EAS alarms EAS alarms are probably one of my biggest childhood fears of all time, nothing about the dark and allat, it’s the alarms they usually come out of nowhere either to test or there’s an actual emergency. usually where i live, all i get are heat warnings during summer. and before they start explaining the situation they blare some loud noise, here in the usa it’s beeps that sound like screeching that’ll get stuck in your head for a few days thing is, you’ll never know if you’re in danger before they say it’s a test. because it’s been my childhood fear, you know what pisses me off? the fact that there’s a whole fandom about it: rating the alarms, creating “remixes”, but better than that: telling to make sure if the alarms are fake or not. these fandoms are something to run into on yt especially overall, i still fear the alarms because you’ll never know until they explain it lemme know what’s your opinions/yapping about it

GensouChronicle is a haven for those seeking quality within the sewer that is the Western Touhou YouTube scene. His editing is clean yet stimulating, his videos are well-researched and well-written, and he presents some interesting investigations into the nature of Touhou's world. Here are some of my favorite videos of his, with a brief description of their content and strengths: Here he weighs the probability of success within Gensokyo upon various different pathways, assuming little prior acquaintance with Gensokyo or its real-life parallels. This is done through ranking traits and abilities, which may be improved through certain courses of action. This video highlights the research put into his videos and the clarity of his conceptual construction. Here the content is in the title, but this video has a great deal of humor. The general trend in his humor is building his jokes with one mood and ending with its polar opposite. For example, at 2:35 a somewhat poetic, serious mood is built but then abruptly ended by a shift to a more vulgar and simple mood. He also makes use of strange analogies which are oddly appropriate, as is shown at 0:44. I believe this style of humor borders between reason and absurdity, it appears absurd but never deviates from an underlying order. I feel I share this style of humor and I have much difficulty sufficiently describing it, so I cling to any example of it can I find to try and get a better idea of it. Lastly, there is my overall favorite of his videos. He takes the world of Gensokyo seriously, which is highly refreshing. It isn't merely a source of memes for him, he sees it as a well-built fantasy whose merits run parallel to figures like Tolkien (although I cannot be the judge of how apt these are, I haven't read him). It's a good investigation into the nature of fantasy in general, it explained a lot of my formerly inexplicable appreciation for Gensokyo as someone who is generally not sensitive to the appeal of fantasy - Touhou taught me the appeal of fantasy and that's why I've been so enamored by it. When I try to write for an audience my writing gets so "stiff", I FEEL stiff while writing. I swear my writing isn't always so impersonal and rigid.

Man i love this channel. They're videos are just fantastic and the topics that he brings are always interesting. Hmm... a good video essay huh? that's gonna be hard... specially for me, someone who have just watched a bunch of awesome videos lately, but i'll try my best 1. I was wishing to talk about this video with someone but never really got a chance. I like this guy's channel and the content he does (reaction to history-related videos since he is a historian), and this being one of his "original" works only proves his potential 2. The next video is a little bit controverse and in some points it even might make you uncomfortable while watching, so big WARNING sign here. He discusses exactly what you think it is (aka lolicon and other stuff). I just think this video is very well done and I kinda agree with what he's saying. 3. Prepare yourself for three videos from the same channel! I simply love this guy explaining mysteries and interesting stories. I dare to say he's one of my favorite youtubers. He always bring in his videos some very curious and sometimes untold stuff. Oof! that was it, i guess. But after all this seriousness, it's time for a little bit of comedy. I just think this guys' videos and commentaries are pretty funny. Other interesting channels I recommend: 1. Horses 2. exurb1a 3. Wendigoon
