The mighty bomber fairy Day 41: Star Sapphire Star is a funky character. When it comes to the actual trio of the fairies and we don’t consider them outside of that, star is my favorite of them. But when we take her out of that environment, I like Luna more mostly due to design and personality. Star tends to be the smart one, making the plans and making the other two do them. She’s pretty mischievous, and has quite the penchant for explosives. This leads her to be really interesting to see, and pretty fun to watch so stupid stuff. The only thing holding her from going any higher is her design is weak and the fact that she doesn’t get too much interesting things outside of the trio. Overall, a fun character that could easily be entertaining when used, only held by some small nitpicks and my personal bias against fairies.

I posted an I am Setsuna remix some time ago, but never posted anything from the actual soundtrack. So I'm rectifying that now. I know the general consensus is that the piano gimmick was a budget-driven decision, but I consider it to be rather a novelty.

I like the revamped aesthetic for the site. It's a bit glitchy, but playing with my magnification settings easily fixes things. This week's offering is from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. Aside from having an obnoxious title and no longer being available, the game has an impressive soundtrack. Catchy, if not too imaginative, with a fun bounce throughout.

I think CrossCode is more popular than it appears (a quiet fandom, perhaps). The music makes me think of an earlier period of VGM. That doesn't make sense, but I'm not sure how to put it into words.
