  1. Funky guitar girl Day 40: Benben Tsukumo Benben is a neat character. Really nice parts to her character that flesh her out well. I like the stuff she has with raiko, where she shows them how to keep themselves going with magic. Her design is really neat, and I think it’s good as a simple design. Honestly though, she hasn’t done much, but it’d be sweet to see her with the prismrivers more. Overall, good small character that could definitely show up again.

  2. it started with bad apple remade in some robotic things (i dont know what they are). right after i watched that video, there was the bad apple pv, i watched it and was fascinated by the animation, and also the music. just after that, there was the video about history of bad apple, watched it, got interested more, and went to watch memories of phantasm, i stopped at like, episode 3 or 5, but it was the one with okuu. i then forgot about touhou, until suddenly it appeared again (i would know exactly when it was if my history didn't break for some reason, but it was around late 2022) and i got back into it, and remain a fan of it until now

  3. This character doesn’t exist in a good way Day 39: Koakuma Koakuma isn’t a character, but her case is very different than dai’s. Koakuma ended up being fanoned as patchy’s servant/friend, which really helped her character. She shows up much more and more meaningfully than dai, because people tend to use her as a part of patchy instead of a sidekick, where we see her get to do some stuff. In many fangames, she tends to be cheerful, and generally is fun to see. The specific good fan work for her is the busy person games, where she is basically an Everyman. Overall, another of those fan carried characters, but isn’t present in the series.

  4. Apparently it's ZUN's birthday today. This may be cheating, but I can't let the opportunity pass up. Someone will get it, I'm sure. Courtesy of Spirit_Medium: Maya's theme is probably my favorite track from these games. Courtesy of GundamFan15: I'm not as familiar with these ones, but I really liked what I found from Endless Duel. Mario music is a far reaching subject, so it's difficult to pick out just a couple of tracks to represent it.

  5. One day I'd like to play Chrono Trigger. The reviews for the PC release have made me hesitant to invest in that direction, so I'm holding out for a Switch release (long shot, but one can hope). This week, another turn-based RPG from much more recent times (but with an equally timeless soundtrack IMO).

  6. NGL I really love Chrono Trigger's OST. So many good timeless pieces with a random battle theme that you just wanna dance to because its so catchy. And the OST just had so much life to it.

  7. I've mentioned a lot of lesser-known OSTs so far. This week I'll bring up Chrono Trigger. Most people have probably already heard this soundtrack, but it's worth remembering. Edit: Links broke again, and I only remember one of the two pieces I originally posted. It shouldn't matter too much; we'll definitely be returning to Chrono Trigger in the future.

  8. I'm going to start doing these on Wednesday instead of Friday. Hue is a more obscure release, but its soundtrack is one of my favorites.

  9. In the interests of keeping this thread alive, I will take this opportunity to share the work of Tim Follin. I can't tell if the Follin Brothers are the most under-rated VGM composers of all time, or if people just don't talk about them because of how bad the games tended to be.

  10. Revive this topic pls. I like Touhou music. But not just Touhou music. Right now , I will share to you my favorite Class Trial theme from Danganronpa : Trigger Happy Havoc. I decided to share this Trial theme out of the others not just because it is good, but it also gives me more motivation to keep the Class Trial going until we find the culprit. Next we have some Ace Attorney music. I decided to share the theme Pursuit ~ Cornered from the first game, as I think it's better than the ones in the later sequels. I would also like to include an album made for the same franchise, Ace Attorney. The album's name is Phoenix Wright Jazz ~ Gyakuten Meets Jazz Soul. I like it because it's Jazz and because of the album cover. And another album made for the same franchise. This album is named Phoenix Wright Orchestra ~ Gyakuten Meets Orchestra. I chose this album too because it's pretty good, and also the album cover. Now, we are finally not gonna cover an Ace Attorney album, but Persona music. Kimi no Kioku from Persona 3 and maybe Time from Persona 3 Portable? This post now feels like more of an essay than a post sharing my favorite music. This took pretty long to make. Revive this topic pls
