I know I have posted my sorter a few times already, and that I have updated it in February as part of my yearly activity, but this is what it looked like last time:

Just your average makai person Day 14: Louise The only thing I find notable for Louise is her potential. She could be a nice lens into makai life as a whole, which is an unexplored part of lore. I like her design too, with it being pretty unique as a whole. Generally, she could fill a role of showing makai to us as someone whose experiences with it, which would be nice.

I want someone to write a scenario where she goes on a vacation to Gensokyo. The protagonists stopped her mid-travel in Mystic Square, but I think it'd be cool if she had some interactions during her stay or something. Maybe with Byakuren, since she was sealed there in the past? A bit random, but I also like her role in Puppet Dance Performance as the checkpoint station before that game's Victory Road parallel.

I really like that after you beat Louise, she reappears in Stage 4 (with the sprite looking very pissed), makes sense since you attacked her without explanation (not a new thing in Touhou, as Marisa says shoot first ask questions later). It also reinforces my idea that in Mystic Square you are essentially destroying Makai as you go, making her Stage 4 appearance more meaningful as now she is really trying her hardest to stop you from wrecking Makai

just adding that my top 1 should probably be minoriko instead of shizuha because she just looks cooler there are a lot of characters I just went neutral on for either not remembering them or just not caring enough, guessing why I got like 40 ties on this parsee, tenshi and shion shoulda been easy top 10 imo, but they're not even there, unfortunate

I excluded characters from Touhou 16 to 18 since I'm not familiar with them, as well as PC-98 since there's only a handful of characters I like such as Mima and Shinki. I've done this sorter weeks ago, so it's still new.

If you knock over this girls stone stacks, I’m coming to your location and rapidly approaching Day 13: Eika Ebisu Eika is a character with some potential. I feel like she currently is used to flavor the Sanzu River a bit more with some inhabitants, kinda like Urumi. But I feel like she could do some more stuff, like show more of the kinds of spirits that live in that area of hell, along with potentially other spots in hell. In general, Eika is part of an unexplored part of the lore, which is hell. Who knows though, Eika might not even show up again because she’s a stage one character. I do like her design and concept, and kinda wish she gets used for when we finally learn what hell is all about. Overall, one of the characters that got very little but has potential to be a neat little small character.
