It's about time. Since it is once more my turn to host, I am once again going against the tradition of naming the thread after a Star Wars reference, although this time you still get a Spielberg* reference, so I'm kind of following the tradition?... We're gonna run out of Star Wars references soon, anyway *Realising the things these films have in common is George Lucas, not the director... this is why you can't talk to me about film To anyone who has no clue what this is I'm going on about, the remix tournament is a recurring forum game we run on this here site. The idea is to share Touhou remixes and then rate and rank them in a very non-competitive nature. Each participant will PM me three Touhou remixes, and then when everyone's ready I will drip feed them 3 at a time into this thread, keeping each submission anonymous to the person who submitted it, and everyone will rate the songs in the post. Repeat until I've posted all songs, and then I average together all the scores and that's the remix tournament! If you want to participate, simply state your interest in this thread, and then PM me your three remixes of choice. Try to avoid something that has appeared in a past tournament. Sign-ups will be open for about a week, then we can get started. The objective of the remix tournament is to share cool music, so don't take it too seriously! However, do try to show up to each round to leave your ratings and opinions. I think that's summarised it neatly. Any questions, just ask here! So, i was gonna reply earlier but idk how to use the forum so well on my phone, so i ate my breakfast and came to my computer xd Tbh, this one made me way more interested in Amagami! I saw her in other pictures but didn't search a lot about her, even though Kaoru is certainly one of the cutest ones for me, i found this one so beautiful! She seems like a character that i'd certainly like (even if with this description she doesn't seem so sweet as i thought she was xd), mostly because of her hair, i love straight black hairs! She reminds me of my favorite K-On character (Mio Akiyama) I saw a girl with a short hair there too, could you tell me her name? She seems like a cute and kind character, and i loved her hair! I loved it! They're in my favorite K-On outfit, the "don't say lazy" one! You know, there's some similarities that i'm noticing, maybe it was common in 2010 animes but is their uniform at some point xd I couldn't find a lot pictures of the K-On! uniforms during the first half of season 1, so i took a picture of my Yui figure and the only one good image i found of their uniform during that part had a upload error, idk why =') It's really nice to see those similarities between anime released during and before 2010, i barely see those uniforms recently xd Please post more fanarts, they're so cute and pretty! You got me interested in Amagami, i'm sure more people will also get interested into it! =D

Alright then, character showcase shall be then. I just need to figure out who I am going to start with, as that would mean checking through hundreds of Danbooru pages just to pick the images I like most about those characters (I just want to post as much fanart I like about them to accompany the discussion). I will probably use the general/introductory information for each of the characters like the wiki information for Kaoru, followed then by fanart/official material related to the character described. Character showcase: Ayatsuji Tsukasa General information (curtesy to the Amagami wiki): Tsukasa Ayatsuji (絢辻 詞 Ayatsuji Tsukasa) is one of the main characters of the series. Her story is in the final arc (the 6th arc of the anime). She is the 2- A class representative, organizing activities and addressing directly to her teacher, Maya Takahashi. Appearance: She has black hair with a "hime cut" [basically the Kaguya haircut for all of us used to Touhou - CvN's note] and black eyes. She wears their standard school uniform. Years later, her hair remains black but it is cut short. Personality: Described as a hard worker, she is one of the best and most popular students of Kibitou High School. Her innocent behavior is just an act to cover up her true self which is very manipulative and cunning, to the extreme of blackmailing the main character in the PS2 game (Junichi in the anime). She has been described as a tsundere which are clearly shown in episodes 22 and 23 in the anime. Despite making Junichi her "slave", she started to have feelings for him, as to the point of telling him to make him hers and erasing her "black personality" for him, but Junichi tells her that he loves her just the way she is. Age: - 16 (Amagami SS) - 17 (Episode 20/Rihoko Sakurai arc Part 4 and Amagami SS Plus) - 26 (Epilogue of Amagami SS episode 24) Note: only now I have noticed the fact that the wiki gives a lot of information about even stuff like the age, birthday, height or even the blood type for each of the characters. I am not every sure if everything is canonical (we all know the situation of the Touhou Fandom wiki), especially since I am not familiar with the source material, but they sure are interesting bits of random trivia. Some other trivia from the same article: Tsukasa is considered the Main Heroine of Amagami. All openings depict her as such. She was the girl on the box cover of the original visual novel and "EbiKore+ Amagami", as well as the manga cover of "Amagami: Sincerely Yours". Also, her story in the anime, if we count both seasons and skip the secret heroines, fits right in the middle upon the rest of the story arcs. As a little detail, the first opening plays at the end of her arc. In her arc also there are scene featured that treated some scenes of the other leads as side story Tsukasa's story in the manga is '"Amagami: Precious Diary". In Tsukasa's epilogue, her hair became shorter, but her daughter took her previous hairstyle. Tsukasa and Junichi Tachibana kissed several times more in the manga than in the anime. At the end of Tsukasa's arc in the anime she came back to the founders festival 10 years later with her husband Junichi along with their unnamed daughter which bares similarities to Tsukasa herself in her younger years. Tsukasa's anime first season ending is based on the end of best ending combined with remake good ending. She's the only heroine who confessed to Junichi early in the arc (the rest confessed at the last episode while Rihoko confessed in season 2) Her dark side was not explored much in other arcs except in Morishima's arc in season 2 where she got mad at Junichi for not saying his true intentions for taking the class rep speech Ai Nanasaki might be aware of her dark personality but it is not explicitly stated. As of the anime, her arc is the most popular during season 1 Being the last arc of season 1, it was her arc that began season 2 There is a typo in the original release of the game where Ayatsuji's name is written with the kanji 綾辻. The kanji 綾 has the same reading as the correct kanji: 絢. This typo is not present in the Ebikore+ release. Kaoru's favorite word is "幸せ" meaning happiness. One of Kaoru's dream professions is beautician. It's amazing how you made me interested in a character with a single post xd I'm gonna watch the anime and read the manga, but this kind of game isn't my style so i'm gonna skip it xd But honestly, the anime got me, what i love the most is that 2000 - 2010 anime style and how cute and wholesome it looks, i really need to see it! She's also cute actually, i understand why you liked her xd You really got me interested into that, i'll surely put it in my list of stuff i wanna watch! I love 2000 - 2010 anime as i said, mostly it's style and the calm energy it brings to me, that's actually what got me more interested into watching this anime and reading the manga xd
