Should I buy an arcade stick and does it work?

Ive been thinking about buying an arcade joystick since my dualshock 4's d-pad doesnt really work on touhou 14.5 (yes ive tried joy2key and DS4windows), anyways can you tell me if the arcade stick works on it (assuming you have one and used it) and or if you know any other softwares like ds4 and joy2key that actually works on the games

I don't know if an arcade joystick does work on TH 14.5, but I remember that my Xbox360 joystick did work for that game. Hope that helps :)

@Zenolyz I can't help much about arcade sticks but maybe check the controller config screen? I think in ULiL you can change the directional controls from stick to d-pad although I may be misremembering, that might not have been added until AoCF.

Also, I was wondering if I could flip the question back to you and ask if the dualshock d-pad works for Hisoutensoku? On my controllers it only takes the stick for directional inputs.

Yeah.. sorry to say but the d-pad for dualshock doesnt work for Hisoutensoku aswell and its a real bummer.
