Looking for valuable ressources concerning music creation

Greetings,

I want to start experimenting a bit with music creation in order to start making covers of songs and maybe create my own after awhile.
I would like to know if any creators could help regarding this subject? 
I am looking for sound fonts for FL Studio, name of instruments regarding these fonts '(because there are tons of them and I'm not entirely certain which one I should use for which purpose), general advices regarding the ZUN style creation etc...

Hi Smaugu!

I don't know much about the modern games' instruments, but I am aware of the PC-98 soundfont which is very easy to use. It should come up by searching up "touhou pc-98 soundfont." Once you download it, use the Soundfont Player in FL. I recommend practicing with it for some time, because you can focus on your melody without worrying much about audio mixing :)

There is also a cool youtube series guide that teaches you how to make touhou music, and it teaches basics of music theory. I HIGHLY recommend watching it all, although you may have to rewatch some videos a few times if it's your first time doing music theory (as I did).
