The Miko and The Raven (paused)

[0] -> Down in the Former Hell of Gensokyo, there lives a variety of youkai... vengeful spirits dominate the youkai population, however. This environment is not safe for humans to live here, you're best chance to get along with a youkai is probably Yuugi Hoshiguma, but that's not important... let's welcome you, to the actual "hell" of the undergrounds. Vengeful spirits similarly dominate the Hell of the Blazing Fires. Former Hell and Hell of the Blazing Fires are two connected areas, the Hell is more farther deep however. Yes, it is real hot. Threats are still as high, as well.

???: "... WAHAHAHA! I WANT TO DO THIS EVENT AGAIN!"

??? (2): "What event, Utsuho?!"

Utsuho: "Huh!? You don't know what I'm talking about!?"

-> *Utsuho's arm cannon points towards Rin (??? (2)).*

Utsuho: "I'm talking about the Subterranean Animism event I did! It was all flashy and besides the fact my goal wasn't achieved, I'll do it again! AHAHAHA!"

Rin: "Uuu.. this is bad. Not again... O-Okuu I-"

-> *Rin looks up to see a giant sun forming from Utsuho's arm cannon as she points it right up. It then starts to aim towards her.*

Rin: "I... I'll be leaving! The Hakurei maiden should do it! She solved it last time!"

Utsuho: "Oh, so that's why that Reimu came here to see my flashy show!"

Rin: "She doesn't care about your "show"! She- ... Ugh!"

-> *Rin left the Hell of the Blazing Fires leaving Utsuho behind...*

 

-> And thus this story shall unfold itself...

Rin: "Jeez..."

-> *Rin stands in front of the Hakurei Shrine, listening of the now gone sound of her shoes clacking on the path leading to the door. Of course, no one is around. The donation box looking empty as usual. She then approaches the steps of the shrine. た た た.. た た...*

Rin: "I hope she's home..."

-> *Inside the shrine lies Reimu, resting her head on the tatami with tea next to her. Wanting peace and quiet.*

Reimu: "Now that the UFOs are dealt with.. I can't wait to sleep here... and hope for treasure in my donation box! ... Like that'll ever happen..."

-> *She lifts her head off the table and holds her tea, looking absolutely tired. She then starts to lift her cup to her mouth before...*

Rin: "HEY! WE ARE IN AN EMERGENCY!"

-> *The tea inside splashes onto Reimu as she tips over onto the floor with tea dripping all over her. Not to mention, the door broke by Rin's extremely hard push to open it.*

Reimu: "Is that... ANOTHER PEST!? I swear-"

-> *Reimu grabs her gohei on the ground and stood up to face the "pest". But lowered it slightly when she recognize the "pest": Rin Kaenbyou. In absolute panic, she looks around and stares back at Reimu, panting.*

Rin: "I- I'm here b-because.." *pant* "I.." *pant*

-> *Reimu raised her gohei higher, the more Rin can't form her sentences. The tea dripping off of Reimu continues to land on the floor, dirtying it.*

Reimu: "Spit it out! I don't have time with your games right now! Can't you see I finished another incident!?"

Rin: "Huh? What.." *pant* "What incident?"

Reimu: "Of course, you're the cat from the underworld. What is it? Rin.. Satsuki?"

Rin: "Who's Rin Satsuki!? Oh man.. I have a lot of names to remember in the overworld."

Reimu: "Doesn't matter, she's not in Gensokyo... physically..."

Rin: "Ooh! A Gensokyo outsider!? I want to meet one!"

Reimu: "I said it doesn't matter! What's your business do you have with me today!?"

Rin: "... oh. Th- that's because... ooh how do I word it..."

-> *Rin waits a moment to start speaking... about Okuu.*

Rin: "W-well it's about Utsuh-"

Reimu: "That dumb bird? Of course her! You want me to attempt to exterminate her today?!"

Rin: "IT'S URGENT, SHE HAS BECOME MORE POWERFUL TO RETAKE OVER THE WORLD!"

Reimu: "..."

-> *Silence fills the room. Reimu then lowers her gohei and scratches the back of her head.*

Reimu: "W-well, I dealt with a bunch of UFOs and a Buddhist girl and some alien yesterday and I- I don't feel-"

-> *The sentence was cut off by Rin grabbing Reimu's hand and dash off back outside, Reimu almost losing the grip of her gohei in the process. And off they go...*

Rin: "NO TIME TO WASTE, LET'S GO!"

Reimu: "HUH!?"

Rin: "DO YOU NOT WANT GENSOKYO DESTR-"

Reimu: "FINE I'M COMING!"

Rin: "AND THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT! LET'S GO BEFORE IT GETS BAD!"

-> *Rin steps forward guiding Reimu to the entrance of the Hell of the Blazing Fires...*

 

-> AUTHOR'S NOTE: I apologize for such a short chapter 1, I expect chapter 2 to be longer! Please be patient as chapters are unplanned schedules! Like be fr, I had to release c1 on Monday but ended up on Wednesday-

-> *Rin and Reimu arrived at the place where the entrance is located. Rin and Reimu looked down at it before speaking.*

Reimu: "So.. Utsuho is trying to take over the world again, I see..?"

Rin: "Yes... sh-she is. All she's saying is that she awaits for you to see her "flashy show" or something along the lines."

Reimu: "..."

-> *Reimu shakes her gohei a bit, the grip on it is tighter than ever.*

Reimu: "So.. THAT'S her reasoning!? Does she want me to have.. that "cancer" thing or something along the lines of that!?"

Rin: "I- ... maybe... that's right. But, you're literally resistant to the "cancer"? Marisa Kirisame too.

-> *Reimu stares at Rin, loosening her grip on her gohei a bit but not to where she's gonna drop it.*

Reimu: "I see..."

-> *Reimu starts to descend herself down the entrance that goes straight to the Nuclear Furnace of the Hell of the Blazing Fires. Rin follows closely behind. Temperatures continue to rise heavily the further down the two go.*

Reimu: "Utsuho... of course. But..."

-> *Reimu stops where she was, halfway down, and points her gohei at Rin, which she puts her hands up when she did. Rin's face gets as confused as she did before she left the Hell.*

Reimu: "... are you behind this, Rin?"

Rin: "HUH!? What do you mean by th-that!?"

Reimu: "I said.."

-> *Reimu's teeth grits as she points the gohei closer to Rin's face. Rin is also starting to sweat, she gives off a nervous, confused, and slightly scared face, all packed into one.*

Reimu: "Are. You. Trying. To. Trick. ME!?"

Rin: "Wh-what made you think of that!?"

Reimu: "You, a Kasha, carry away the dead so you can feed it to the furnace to keep the Hell warm. You're trying to kill me? You suspiciously tried to convince me to come here, what is it? Killing the Hakurei Miko herself?"

Rin: "I- ... I didn't want to do that I-"

Reimu: "THE SILENCE GIVES IT OFF, YOU'RE STUTTERING I-"

Rin: "REIMU! I HAD NO INTENTIONS.. NO SUCH INTENTIONS. I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO TAKE CARE OF UTSUHO'S SITUATION! I- ... I..."

Reimu: "Hm? LYING TO ME NOW, STUTTERING!? I see..."

-> *Reimu floats away from Rin with her gohei sat right beside her, before stopping, she turned to Rin like she was about to kill her.*

Reimu: "I ask you... no stuttering, what's your intentions."

-> *Rin looked horrified. The stare Reimu gave, her absolutely horrifying tone, and just the way she stands. She has no idea why she's asking these questions.*

Reimu: "So silence you give me?"

Rin: "Eh!? No?? What I'm saying is that I can't deal with a more powerful Utsuho on my own and I need hel-"

Reimu: "Hmph.. you're in need of backup? Well... let's test your skill, shall we Rin Kaenbyou?"

-> *Rin looked starry eyed for a second because Reimu finally remembers her last name instead of it being "S/-\|SUK/" before she regained her posture.*

Rin: "You finally remembered! Anyway, you mean a duel?"

Reimu: "... yes. Fire your danmaku at me..."

-> *Reimu's yin-yang orbs appear around her.*

Reimu: "... as much as you want, I'll dodge it freely."

Rin: "A- alright then. Let's see your dodging again..."

-> NOW PLAYING: 元気 (Good Cheer) ~ Kasha's Proof Course

Rin: "I hope this satisfies you, Reimu Hakurei!"

-> *A good amount of danmaku appears around Rin Kaenbyou though still easy to dodge. It's only the "first stage".*

Reimu: "Ah, still very easy. Thanks to refreshing myself from those idiotic fairies we passed by and from yesterday's incident."

Rin: "Of course, I'm an easy enemy! R-right..?"

Reimu: "Yeah, yeah."

-> *Rin's spellcards were surprisingly easy compared to when she was a stage 4 midboss, stage 5 midboss and boss, and stage 6 midboss.*

Reimu: "The hell is this!? You we're a bit difficult last time I encountered you??"

Rin: "Huh? Reimu-san? What do you mean?"

Reimu: "... are you like.."

-> *Reimu continues dodging while speaking, launching bullets at Rin which kinda don't hurt.*

Reimu: "The... stage 1 boss?"

Rin: "I- ... stage 1..?"

Reimu: "That spider I encountered was my stage 1 boss last time I went here but I'm not going through that entrance. Then that means..."

-> *Reimu does her final blow at Rin, completing "stage 1".*

Reimu: "... Utsuho is my stage 2 boss."

Rin: "Ow, ow, ow.. Okuu is stage... 2?"

Reimu: "I believe so. C'mon Rin. Let's get Utsuho dealed with."

Rin: "Wait, Reimu-san!"

-> *Reimu stopped when Rin called for her.*

Reimu: "Stop with the formal stuff, but what is it?"

Rin: "If Ok- Utsuho gotten more powerful but is your stage 2 boss.. who's your stage 6 boss?"

Reimu: "Jeez, made me think of that... shoot hard to tell. But let's head down for stage 2.."

-> *Reimu starts heading down even more, defeating more vengeful spirits and the zombie fairies.*

Rin: "NO! NOT THE RESIDENTS I- uuuuu I'm coming!"

-> *Rin proceeds to follow Reimu farther down into the Hell of the Blazing Fires.*

-> Meanwhile..

-> *Utsuho hears the sounds of screaming vengeful spirits, Reimu's shouts, and Rin's panics.*

Utsuho: "They're here... Miyadeguchi... you're on."

Mizuchi: "Chaos is my middle name, I'll stall them, Utsuho."

Utsuho: "Great, I'll be off."

-> *Utsuho dashes off somewhere, far from Mizuchi's location. Let the games play...*

[koakumas]

-> *After the dip to Hell of the Blazing Fires is achieved lots more vengeful spirits came about. Rin was in total panic as she watches Reimu blows the vengeful spirits away. Then she remembered these spirits did something terrible while alive, so she had to let it slide.*

Reimu: "Ugh! This spirit!"

???: "WAHAHAHA!"

-> *Mizuchi Miyadeguchi, stage 2 midboss. She's ready for the chaos she wants from Gensokyo, there shall be no peace to her.*

Mizuchi: "I see! You're after me? I-"

-> *BOOM! Mizuchi was immediately defeated by a Fantasy Seal.*

Mizuchi: "Waaaaah!"

-> *She then slams onto the below ground. Knocked out, of course.*

Reimu: "Hey! Watch it, Rin!"

Rin: "S-sorry! ... eh? There she is!"

-> *Rin points into the distance, an Utsuho with her back towards Reimu and Rin. She then starts dashing off into the direction of the actual nuclear furnace.*

Rin: "Okuu! Come back!"

Reimu: "Hey! There's serious trouble for you Utsuho Reiuji!"

-> *Despite the callings, Utsuho kept running away. Halfway to the furnace, she started to shoot her danmaku hoping this would drive the two away. Only made them more suspicious of Utsuho than ever. All Utsuho was doing was running with her shooting her danmaku without her arm cannon for some reason.*

Reimu: "Utsuho! Get over here! You know you can't run for longer!"

Rin: "OKUU-SAN! LISTEN FOR ONCE! REIMU MAY ACTUALLY WANT TO SEE YOUR "SHOW"!"

-> *Once Utsuho forced her way into the Nuclear Furnace, she slammed the metal door on them before fleeing to near the roof of the place preparing her danmaku.*

Reimu: "Uuuu.. it's slammed shut!"

Rin: "Oh, I know how we can open it."

-> *She said looking behind her seeing the knocked out Mizuchi who probably won't get up for a while.*

Rin: "I got this!"

-> *She went back to grab Mizuchi's body and slammed it onto the metal door as hard as she can. This caused the door to budge a bit.*

Rin: "Ouch, her chains hit my arm.. Reimu! Open it!"

Reimu: "Gotcha."

-> *Reimu pushed the door open with her back but as soon as it's cracked open, Utsuho's danmaku was waiting for her.*

Reimu: "Oh shoot.."

Rin: "Get inside for a minute! You know you need to plan this out! She's only your "stage 2 boss", you know!?"

-> *Rin grabbed Reimu by the back of her clothes to lead her back in.*

Reimu: "I'm aware, Rin Kaenbyou! I got this!"

-> *Reimu dashed back out, preparing her battle against what's known to be one of the most dangerous youkai underground. Preparing her gohei, her seals, everything.*

-> NOW PLAYING: Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom ~ Nuclear Fusion (Hell Mix)

Reimu: "What do you have to run away for, Utsuho Reiuji."

-> *The next sounds was just the bullets firing everywhere. Before Utsuho spoke...*

Utsuho: "Came to see my flashy show?"

-> *This left Reimu shocked for a moment. She regained her posture and continued what she was doing before she gets hit.*

Utsuho: "Pssh.. this human....."

-> *Her what seemed to be menacing face changes to that, when she turned to Reimu, a face of insanity stared right at Reimu.*

Utsuho: "WANTS TO SEE MY FLASHY SHOW!? THOUGHT YOU WOULDN'T! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Reimu: "W-WOULD YOU SHUT UP ALREADY!? YOU'RE ONLY SUCH A STAGE 2 BOSS!"

Utsuho: "WAHAHAHAHA! LIKE I WOULD! LOOK HOW FAR THAT CAT CONVINCED YOU!"

-> *Rin is at the ground watching above what's happening. Then Utsuho fires an explosive danmaku next to her which barely missed and exploded half the ground. This had left Rin having to float for the rest of the time.*

Reimu: "WATCH MY POWER YOU BIRDBRAINED IDIOT!"

Utsuho: "I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY- EH!? N-"

-> *Reimu evaded faster than usual, creating showing how easy it actually got without Utsuho's arm cannon. Absolutely slapping the hell out of Utsuho with her gohei once she got close enough, halting her danmaku. This then followed by seals sticking themselves to Utsuho. To seal this, Reimu did a final kick at Utsuho, slamming her against the walls of the furnace.*

Utsuho: "Kah! That's... WHAT!?"

-> *The pain radiating in her stomach where Reimu kicked her gets worse, even the pain after getting slammed to the wall starts to radiate.*

Utsuho: "Wh-why am I this weak!?"

Reimu: "Tell me, Utsuho Reiuji... why did you run?"

-> *Reimu floats to Utsuho as she speaks, almost intimating Utsuho, a hell raven who is feared for her powers.*

Reimu: "You've only got more powerful, yet, you're weak to me. Why the run?"

Utsuho: "... where's the cat?"

Reimu: "Hm? Rin Kaenbyou?"

-> *Utsuho trembles a bit. She was about to aim her arm cannon past Reimu but realizes she doesn't have it at the moment.*

Utsuho: "ORIN!"

-> *Rin starts to float herself up, not knowing what's Utsuho's next move.*

Rin: "O-Okuu? What do you..."

-> *Rin looked up above Utsuho, seeing a massive sun above her, her hands are high up, awaiting to throw the sun...*

Utsuho: "WHY DID YOU BROUGHT THE MIKO HERE!?"

Rin: "What the hell!? You are one deranged-"

-> *Rin stops herself, she knows if she continues, Utsuho would get more mad. She then slapped her mouth closed.*

Utsuho: "WHAT WAS THAT!?"

Rin: "YOU MADE ME BRING HER HERE! WHAT D-"

-> *Utsuho then laughs manically.*

Utsuho: "Fufufu.. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! IT WAS JUST A MISUNDERSTANDING, ORIN! I ONLY NEEDED TO MEET HER FOR A MOMENT!"

-> *Rin had the look of surprise, she realized it, Utsuho is really that dumb after all.*

Utsuho: "LEAVE ME WITH NO CHOICE!"

i thought it would be kinda funny that they're somewhat self aware they're in a "game" with this mf named zun that's adding characters by the minute while drunk

-> *Rin looks up at the increasing sized sun, Reimu being unfazed of it as always. Rin's increasing panic in order to figure out what to do next.*

Rin: "Okuu! Why do you have to-"

Utsuho: "TOO LATE!"

Rin: "Stop it! Utsuho "Okuu" Reiuji, I- haah!"

-> *Rin's gasp was the last thing she said before getting blown by Utsuho throwing the sun at Rin, doing an explosion, this led to her falling from where she floated. With the only thing coming out of her was:*

Rin: "OKUUUUUUUUUUU...!"

-> *This also leads to her crashing through the furnace floors into the lava below it, boiling her.*

Reimu: "O-oh... well that was dramatic."

-> *Utsuho was completely unfazed, watching as her best friend "misunderstands her" and did a murder right there, in front of Reimu.*

Reimu: "I'll be going now... hah!?"

-> *As soon Reimu starts to leave through the door, Utsuho stops her by grabbing the clothes. It was silence for moment, excepts Reimu's grunting trying to make Utsuho let go and the lava boiling.*

Reimu: "What's wrong with you?! I didn't need to be grabbed!"

Utsuho: "... I took out a youkai for you..?"

-> *That was when Utsuho came up with a plan to restart taking over the world. Reimu pauses herself and looks down at the lava below the floor. It boils there, no sight of Rin anywhere.*

Reimu: "... what does that give me?"

Utsuho: "Wish to know?"

-> *Reimu has her back turned towards Utsuho, looking down at the lava. It was just silence again, now only with just the boiling lava.*

Reimu: "Fu.. fufufu..."

-> *Utsuho looked slightly confused at Reimu's giggle to herself.*

Utsuho: "R-reimu?"

Reimu: "Ha.. haha... ahaha... ahaHA!"

Utsuho: "Reimu Hakurei! Are you alright!?"

Reimu: "AhaHAHAHA! HA! ... AHAHAHAHA!"

Utsuho: "R-REIMU!?"

-> *Reimu turns towards Utsuho, a massive gaping smile is visible on Reimu's face, her iris in the eyes has shrunk to that of insanity, even her head is tilted to the side.*

Reimu: "HA! AHAHAHA! HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

-> *Reimu's continuous laugh of pure insanity goes on and on without stopping or having a breath break.*

Utsuho: "H-how... R-Reimu! Wh- hah!?"

-> *Utsuho floats there, in absolute confusion and concern of Reimu, she has descended to pure insanity. Utsuho panics a bit as well as the laugh continues to get louder and worse. With Reimu's gohei pointed at her, her intentions could be clear from the insanity...*

its called snapping (this is technically an old story so most stuff dont fit entirely well, but im trying to improve it as time goes on)

fun fact: imperishable festival is older than tmatr, yet i think if got a better story imo

Eh, both are good and IF holds a special place in heart. It was one of the first pieces of touhou media that I found and it got me into touhou, thank you Koakumas!

-> *Utsuho's panic leads her nowhere, she looks both sides, seeing where Rin once was before being burnt, vengeful spirits lying on the ground, Mizuchi trying to heal herself. She then turns to Reimu.*

Utsuho: "Reimu Hakurei! What's wrong with you!?"

Reimu: "WRONG WITH ME? I'LL SWEAR TO YOU THERE WILL BE NOTHING WRONG AFTER I- HYAA!"

-> *Reimu quickly lunges at Utsuho but she dodges it.*

Utsuho: "Reimu! Stop, this isn't helping!"

-> *Reimu's gohei gets swinged and clashes against Utsuho's arm, blocking it.*

Reimu: "IF I CAN'T KILL A YOUKAI LIKE YOU, THEN HOW WOULD I FUFILL MY TITLE HAS A YOUKAI EXTERMINATER!?"

-> *Reimu keeps pressuring her gohei on Utsuho's arm, trying to make it hit her.*

Reimu: "THIS IS HOW A HAKUREI MIKO DOES HER JOB. IF I CAN'T DO IT, THEN WHO'S FAULT IS IT REALLY!?"

Utsuho: "This makes no sense, Reimu. Stop!"

-> *Reimu then swifts behind Utsuho, and before she can dodge or stop it, Reimu punches Utsuho high up to where she slams into the Nuclear Furnace ceiling.*

Utsuho: "I-is.. that... all you got...?"

-> *Reimu then throws her gohei like a boomerang which is gonna approach Utsuho.*

Utsuho: "Hah!? No, can't fail... this time!"

-> *Utsuho stands herself upside down on the ceiling before pouncing onto Reimu below her, along with dodging the oncoming gohei. However, this counter was useless. Utsuho missed and Reimu grabbed her by the legs and slammed her into the furnace, causing a small crack on the window protecting the sun inside.*

Utsuho: "N-not the furnace!"

Reimu: "GIVE UP, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT YOU BIRDBRAINED IDIOT!"

Utsuho: "B-birdbrained... idiot?"

-> *Utsuho was in shock, but before she can say a word she got hit by the "There's a Shrine Maiden in a Gap!" move, sending Utsuho flying to the same direction as the furnace, leaving the crack to increase in size.*

Utsuho: "YOU... YOU FILTHY MAIDEN!"

-> *Utsuho charged at Reimu, tackling her in the sky before that was blocked by Reimu's gohei.*

Reimu: "GIVE IT UP, I'LL NOT FAIL MY JOB AGAIN!"

-> *Reimu grabbed Utsuho by the arm and threw her across the furnace again, this time Utsuho stopped herself.*

Utsuho: "S-STOP IT! I- ..."

-> *Utsuho has gotten an idea. Someway to redo the event she wanted to do...*

Utsuho: "Maybe... you can help me..."

-> *Reimu stopped herself before she hit Utsuho.*

Reimu: "Help you in WHAT, birdbrained idiot."

Utsuho: "... What do you think I want prior to this battle?"

Reimu: "To take over the world, again! What is this about?"

Utsuho: "You have done well in taking me down in my past attempt..."

-> *Utsuho started to float around Reimu in circles.*

Utsuho: "You've became allies with Satori-sama, almost like you're ruling along with her. Yet, you're just still allies."

-> *Reimu still awaiting for the offer from Utsuho, watching as she circles her. Reimu crosses her arms, still impatiently waiting.*

Reimu: "... go on, birdbrain."

Utsuho: "... so... I want to take over again. You're powerful enough, and even went into pure insanity over Orin's death."

Reimu: "... that is true."

Utsuho: "Will you join me into taking over the world... again?"

-> *Utsuho extended her hand, awaiting for a handshake.*

Utsuho: "With your knowledge of the aboveground, you're a worthy ally in the battlefield."

-> *Utsuho smiles, knowing her manipulation should be successful. Reimu looks down at the hand, considering everything, betraying her own kind? That's another step into considering the manipulation.*

Reimu: "What do I get in return if this is successful?"

Utsuho: "All of Gensokyo! You and I shall rule over Gensokyo and have those as slaves, even Yukari Yakumo! Plus, you'll get all the Yen you want, as being treated like some goddess!"

Reimu: "All the Yen... enslaving all of Gensokyo... doesn't that..."

-> *With Reimu's pause, Utsuho felt some excitement in her, awaiting for Reimu to take the offer.*

Utsuho: "With your extreme youkai extermination powers and my nuclear fusion that even gods cower, it'll be a slice of cake.. whatever cake is..."

Reimu: "Doesn't that... sound like a deal."

-> *Reimu extends her hands to shake Utsuho's. Sealing the deal...*

Utsuho: "You'll be an amazing ally..."

-> *Utsuho backs away and extends her right arm, this then follows by the arm cannon forming on the arm.*

Utsuho: "It's good to do it again..."

-> *Once the arm cannon finished forming, she extends it into the air making a sun that then explodes. The explosion causes the earthquake that'll shake the place until the surface is cracked open.*

Reimu: "What does this do?"

Utsuho: "Oh, Reimu. This shall crack the surface open which will release the furnace, you, and I. YOU'VE GOT YOURSELF A DEAL, REIMU HAKUREI!"

 

-> AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a point where the story for future chapters changed while still keeping the past chapter's stories. It might get a little confusing onward, I apologize greatly if that's the case!

-> *The earthquake has shaken Gensokyo, everyone has taken notice of it, if magnitudes exists in Gensokyo, this magnitude is around 8.4...*

Marisa: "Huh!? An earthquake? There hasn't been one in years!"

Alice: "I know! What's happening!?"

-> *And everywhere, it IS everywhere in Gensokyo.*

Sanae: "Kanako-sama! What's this earthquake about!?"

Kanako: "I bet it's that Tenshi girl again, Suwako, help out Sanae-ch- I mean Sanae-san!"

Suwako: "Will do, Kanako! C'mon, Sanae."

-> *While Sanae and Suwako find out if this is caused by Tenshi, even she took notice.*

Tenshi: "Hmph... someone is causing an earthquake without me?"

Iku: "Tenshi, please.. for the love of god, don't get involved, it's not you."

Tenshi: "WHO CARES! I wanna party with whoever is making this! Wahahaha!"

Sanae: "Stop right there, Tenshi Hinanawi!"

Tenshi: "Ugh, this Sanae girl..."

Suwako: "Hey! Please don't cause more earthquakes!"

Tenshi: "Eh? This wasn't caused by me but..! Hyaah!"

-> *Tenshi kicks her keystone she was standing on to the ground before sitting on a smaller one.*

Tenshi: "Told- oomph!"

-> *Iku casually slaps Tenshi on the back of her head.*

Tenshi: "Watch it, Iku! I'm more powerful than you and you know that!"

-> *Tenshi's keystone finally slams onto the ground causing an extra 1.0 magnitude to the earthquake.*

Iku: "Waah! Sanae.. Suwako! Defeat her, I don't want more earthquakes for another millennium!"

Sanae: "On it!"

-> Meanwhile...

-> *The glass that held the so called "Great Furnace Sun" within the center of the furnace room has started to crack, on purpose.*

Reimu: "... What's with that sun?"

Utsuho: "They'll always ask me this, everyone who comes in this room... yet it's story is still fascinating."

Reimu: "Yeah, yeah, okay but get straight to it."

-> *As the crack worsens, Utsuho stops herself.*

Utsuho: "Long ago, as I was still a young hell raven, this sun started to burn. It's an artificial sun made from previous hell ravens, amongst those ravens was its leader, my mother. Rikuto Reiuji. Rikuto lead the youkai ravens to this very hell, long before hell moved. But once hell moved when I was only real young.."

-> *Utsuho stares off to the side and stares at the sun.*

Utsuho: "After this sun was created, when it was only dim, the move of hell happened. Rikuto, everyone, vanished before my eyes. Today, the small amount of non-youkai hell ravens that live here were the undeveloped off-spring of the vanished hell ravens."

Reimu: "So.. what did you do?"

Utsuho: "As I grew, I lead those ravens to establish this hell as still an inhabited hell. That's when I met.. Orin. She brought me to Satori where I was adopted as her pet..."

Reimu: "But why the incident?"

Utsuho: "Which one?"

Reimu: "The first one you caused."

Utsuho: "... well, it was all for revenge... AGAINST THOSE YAMA WHO DARE MADE MY RACE ALMOST EXTINCT!"

-> *Reimu realized the true reason. Maybe Utsuho was doing something right for her own species. She created the incident as a warning to the yama by taking over the world.*

Reimu: "... do you know where's Rikuto?"

Utsuho: "She was departed off, into the Sanzu River, never to be seen again..."

Reimu: "I'll be good to you."

Utsuho: "Hey thanks, but let's resume the rule over Gensokyo!"

-> Somewhere in the furnace room, a gap just opens. On the other end, Yukari and Yuyuko watches... disappointment from Yukari.*

Yukari: "This is so embarrassing."

Yuyuko: "Hey, you don't have to complain about her. Maybe she'll snap out of-"

Yukari: "Yuyuko, you don't know her. If she's insane, she'll not snap out of it until her goal is achieved. Now she's lost."

Yuyuko: "I see..."

Yukari: "She's a failure to the Hakurei Shrine... teaming.. TEAMING UP WITH A YOUKAI, A YOUKAI WHO WANTS TO TAKE OVER GENSOKYO AGAIN!?"

Yuyuko: "Hey... chill out... think of a plan where-"

Yukari: "She knows what happens if she fails her occupation..."

-> *Yuyuko stares out into the gap, choosing between an acquittance and her closest friend. The choice is obvious.*

Yukari: "Now that she has failed... she must.. she must die, in the least symbolic way possible. YOU'VE PICKED YOUR DEATH, HAKUREI REIMU!"

Yuyuko: "I've got a plan... but only if you want to follow my plans this time."

Yukari: "Kuu.. fiiiineee..."

 

-> AUTHOR'S NOTE: Yay, we got Utsuho's backstory and even some REAL plot development!! Good job, Koakuma Reiuji, you've actually done real plot development for once!! Of course, Rikuto Reiuji is only a original character I made.
