Orange Redesign for Touhou Reshined Project

Hey everyone ^w^

I finally finished my first drawing to my new Touhou artwork that i was thiking about. With the community recommendations, i made a full redesign for Orange. And yep, i changed a lot at the point on turning her into a male character and i really wanted to do a different art style for something more... abstract.

 

I tried to do something more inspirated in Ayami Kojima art style with a more simplier and more "anime" touch because the focus of the project is not to do something exaggerately realistic. About the design choises, i decided to inspirate in some characters to do it, like Rolento form Street Fighter series and also in Sun Wukong in the hat and stick. This is why he... is actually have a more oriental military design with more orange colors (because the original design almost dont have any orange colors) with a lot of scars in the body after being defeated by Reimu (this will be more explained in his side story).

Finishing about him, this is how Orange will look like during the Windows era, or in another worlds, all the PC-98 characters will continue relevant in the story and will have like a time skip redesign with a backstory telling how they changed until the Windows Era.

Awesome man!! All Orange fanart is good art!

He looks super cool, I especially love the redesigned hat and forearm armor. You've also done great with the coloring and shading :) But maybe some more color on the face? Skin looks pretty pale... still, overall I love it!

Yep... About the face it was first time trying to do a more detailed skin colors without "damaging" his eyes. At least i tried... but man, i so gratefull to see your recomendation to improve more in the next drawings.

Um, and about the next topic, i will post it already. I was playing Bloodstained yersterday to relax a little.
