Who here likes both Peanuts and Touhou

If you ask me, they both badass and sometimes I feel like Charles Schulz is like the Zun for American comic strips.

Ahh, there's a series I haven't read in a long time. Even if I still watch the holiday specials. Touhou slapstick videos certainly evoke the same feelings I have when thinking of Peanuts. Its a more relaxed setting, where deadlines and drama can't touch you. Its a good experience. :)

And im glad to hear that two fellow intellects live in this planet. A lucy poster on the door would be awesome lol. Lucy is such an awesome character, she reminds me alot of my cat who has such a crabby attitude as well. Ive thought about putting the “think big” woodstock (google it if u dont know what i am referring to, itll be the first thing you see) poster in my office. Maybe ill find some fellow peanuts chads where i work….

Yea I just looked it up I love it. You should totally put it up and eventually there'll be someone who, without any prompts will go "Heeey it's Woodstock!" I always loved that little guy hehe.

Also you would be an intellectual for owning and loving cats. (You've caught my eye fellow intellectual... mwahahaha!)

Honestly cant say for Charlie Brown, I mainly just have watched the movies and look at the archived comics online. I am a big fan of Vince Guaraldi's work and have been listening to his stuff. If you dont know what  I am talking about all you need to do is go to youtube and type "Vince Guaraldi, Hapiness is" and youll find exactly what im talking about

So yea basically where can I watch the movies/comics online lol. It just hit me that its always been a charming series that most people know exists yet rarely if ever talk about which strikes me as odd. Good grief...

Anyway thank you so much for introducing me to Vince Guaraldi. I never noticed how beautiful the music of the series was as I was often focused on the characters and interactions themselves, where the music is 'background'. Even so, the "Charlie Brown/Peanuts" music has a unique, iconic sound that... honestly I don't even know exactly how to describe it, listening to it again but it just wouldn't be the same without it and is just as important. Thanks to you, this is the first time I ever sat down to listen to his music and focus on it.

I think I just found my new "Focus and chill" music for a good while. You... are truly awesome! Seriously, you just made my day!
